The Sony DPF-V900 is a digital photo frame that measures 9.6 x 6.4 x 1.5 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 1.8 pounds.
The digital photo frame supports playback of JPEG, BMP, TIFF, and RAW image formats up to a resolution of 48 megapixels. It operates in portrait, landscape, and auto orientation modes. While on display, users can opt to zoom in, zoom out, delete, and rotate photos. Users can also choose to view in slideshow mode or in thumbnail mode.
Other playback features of the DPF-V900 include red-eye correction, auto image resizing, variable slideshow speeds, auto slideshow, exposure correction, and variable fade effects.
The Sony DPF-V900 is equipped with a 9-inch WVGA-resolution (800 x 480) TFT LCD screen with an image aspect ratio of 15:9.
The digital photo frame comes with an integrated flash memory of 512 megabytes with an auto-sizing feature. This feature allows users to store up to 1,000 1.5-megapixel photos in the internal storage. Apart from this, the DPF-V900 supports the use of a wide variety of flash memory cards including RS-MMC, MultiMediaCard, CompactFlash Card type II, Microdrive, SD Memory Card, MultiMediaCardplus, Memory Stick Duo, CompactFlash Card type I, SDHC Memory Card, Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick, XD-Picture Card, and Memory Stick PRO Duo.
The Sony DPF-V900 features a variety of connectivity options. It is Bluetooth-capable and it is HDMI connection-enabled. It also has USB Type B, USB Type A, and 19 pin HDMI Type A connections.
The Sony DPF-V900 is compatible with MS Windows Vista, MS Windows XP, Apple Mac OS X 10.4 or later, and MS Windows 2000 SP3 or later.
The DPF-V900 is compliant with Plug-and-Play standards allowing for direct image transfers from digital cameras and memory cards without the need for computers.
Its other features include clock and calendar playback with a variety of available designs.
