The Sony DPF-V900 has a lot to like about it; the fantastic display is its best asset. The biggest probem we have is that at this price point ($250 MSRP) we want WiFi. Sony opted to skip wireless and added HDMI instead. If you want HDMI, this frame is perfect for you, but we think the audience for such a product is pretty small and fullyexpect to see WiFi next time around. Read more

I have had this frame for 3 years (Purchased Dec. 1, 2008) and it works and looks just as good as the day I received it. It is easy to use and made even easier if you purchase a Bluetooth USB Adaptor to transfer your pictures directly from your camera, phone or computer like the one I got here: Sony DPPA-BT1 Bluetooth USB Adaptor (Silver) . It has many features that I never typically use, but it is always better to have more then not enough. Read more
It's easy enough for my 83 yr old Mom to figure out the features. She said having the frame beside her at night with the slide show playing helps her to feel less lonely. Since I initially loaded 999 pictures into external memory, I suggested to her to use the internal memory for her very favorite photos. That way she did not have to scroll through all 999 photos to show someone a favorite. Read more

I bought my mother-in-law a digital frame for Christmas (not this one) and was really disappointed that the slideshow wasn't random. The show starts in the same place everytime and goes in the same order every time. Same for the MP3s. This is a highly rated and expensive frame, but I can't tell if it shows photos randomly, or in the same order each time. Is anyone aware of ANY frames that can put photos up randomly like a screensaver?
