Summary: This frame is excellent. I bought it for my uncle for Christmas and pre-loaded pictures onto it for him. He is not super technical, but was able to easily add more of his own images to the frame. I would have given it 5 stars, but did not for 2 reasons: 1. The actual viewable screen size was a tiny bit smaller than I expected. I know, the dimensions are there, but for some reason I "pictured" it larger! :) 2.
Summary: I purchased both the expensive Sony 7-inch photo frame and the budget NIX 8-inch photo frame. What a difference an inch makes! The screen sizes are vastly different. If you can afford it I would really reccomend something larger than the 7 inch display, it hard to make out anything unless you are just a few feet away. Other than the screen size I am very happy with this product.
Summary: I'll be totally honest with you. I haven't even plugged this photo frame in yet and I already don't like it. Sony bills this as a 7-inch photo frame. On the box, there's a graphic showing the viewing screen and a 7" diagonal measurement. On the frame itself is a sticker with the same graphic. And the same 7" diagonal measurement called out. However, the viewing screen of this frame is only 6-1/4" diagonally.
Summary: I bought the S-Frame Sony 7 inch for my mother as a gift and it fits the bill. She was satisfied with the size as she did not want a large photo frame but large enough to display 4x6 photos. The description is true to the product and the value thus far seems quite balanced. Do not hesitate to purchase this picture frame (She uses a Nikon dig camera and it in conjunction with the frame does well.
