Summary: I have been using it for so longtime now and definitely I do recommend this digital frame. There is timing option which will help you saving energy by sitting the start-up hour and shutdown hour. Have plenty of ports that will help you in displaying your photos in any way you want. Finally, supports different languages.
Summary: My mom purchased this frame for me as a gift and I was stunned at the amazing clarity. There are various options to fit just about any type of personal preferences, right down to if you want the "SONY" logo to be lit or dark. I have owned other digital frames and the sharpness of the screens did not come close to the amazing quality of this frame. I highly recommend it.
Summary: After buying two of these frames, I was getting frustrated with the frame not recognizing the pictures on the memory card. There's a solution. I put it on my site. Just go to swimminginthought.com and search for s-frame.
Summary: For those having trouble displaying edited photos, in what format does your editing software save the edited images? I use Photoshop Elements (PSE) and for some edits, it saves in a PSE format, which confuses many other programs (uploading to Snapfish, etc. also). These I convert to JPEG, which I can do on the editing screen of Photoshop Elements, and then save as JPEG, which are more readily usable. I hope this helps someone else.
Summary: Holy cow. I edit nearly all my photos on my Mac using iPhoto and this stinkin' digital frame won't display them. What a piece of crap. Who doesn't edit their photos? Are you kidding' me? I'm taking this back and getting something else. (Thanks Sony for getting me all peeved. Poor husband got me this as a Christmas gift and it's going back. He feels bad. I just feel mad. Shame on you, Sony. How backwards can you be?
Summary: I was reading other reviews on Amazon, and thinking about 8 or 9" frames, decided to go with this one. It was right decision. This is far the BEST frame as of today. Display quality like LED backlit LCD's - or, maybe it is a LED? Anyway, even my old images from 2 Mpix camera with so-so quality look awesome! I was kindof worried about JPG's edited on MAC (I have both PC desktop and Mac Book Pro), but I never had any issues with JPG flavors.
Summary: This is a nice digital frame, with one exception: when it auto-turns off, the clock does not show. Is anyone able to figure out how to set the time so that it shifts from slideshow to clock at night and back in the morning ?
Summary: The images are really stunning on this digital photo frame. I don't like how some of my pictures cannot be rotated or enlarged once displayed on the frame. I love the automatic shut off restart feature!
