The Sony DPF-D72 is an 7 inch 800 x 480 resolution digital photo frame from Sony that supports an HDMI output as well as photo transfer wirelessly with the Bluetooth® adapter (sold separately). The DPF-D72 supports JPEG, BMP and TIFF picture format playback not just from its built-in memory, but also from a memory stick /PRO duo /PRO-HG duo, CF, Microdrive and SD memory card, MMC and xD picture card. The unit also supports USB connectivity for external media storage drive to expand its internal memory capacity of 1 GB. The DPF-D72’s aspect ratio is 15: 9, with a viewing angle of 140 degrees horizontal and 120 degrees vertical. The DPF-D72 measures 212 × 39.3 × 142mm and weighs approximately 495 g. It comes with a remote control, the card slot cover and the connector cover.

Features

The Sony DPF-D72 is digital photo frame that can turn themselves on or off on a schedule to save power, can pull pictures wirelessly with optional Bluetooth adapters, and sports HDMI output. The HDMI output allows users to view high-definition images. The digital photo frame also features a brightness sensor. Users can set this mode according to a timer, which will then decrease the level of power consumption to energy saving levels. There is also scheduler that allows users to set ON/OFF button to time zones. The D72 has a power consumption of 0.21 W and 0.07 W on standby mode. The D72 will retail around ¥20,000 ($200) and will be available in Japan.
