Summary: good value, good gift, but short on features
Pros: Great value, nice, 7" screen
Cons: Picture ratio, wont play video, wont keep pictures rotated so having pictures that are standing up size, or short side on bottom are pointless, will play song during slide show but no way to turn off song..unless you want browse function,
Summary: If you want to display your pictures directly from your digital camera, purchase a digital picture frame with the same aspect ratio as your camera. Consider purchasing a 1024x768 picture frame.
Pros: Looks and functions good. I like the remote.
Cons: Aspect ratio of display is 16:9 wide screen but most digital cameras have a 4:3 aspect ratio. You have to resize your photos or the display will crop your picture leaving alot of blank space at each side of the display.
Summary: I found the best "full frame" resolution was 480x270 using FastStone. Pictures pop up very fast, best available resolution, and smallest file size. 1600x900 gave no better visible resolution IMO. Frames with 800x600 screen resolution are sharper and much better looking...but cost more.
Pros: Rebate made this a good value. Good wide angle of view both vertical and horizonatal planes. Attractive frame and sturdy stand.
Cons: Resolution is average: 480x234. Somewhat slow processing if you don't set resolution to native screen.
Summary: Bought this and a LCD keychain for my wife. She likes the keychain better (wives dont usually care about resolution, viewing angle or functionaliy). However we'll most likely be enjoying this frame long after she has dropped/sat on/ scratched up her keychain. Very pleased so far
Pros: Nice and bright. Viewing angle was better than expected for the price. Great frame
Cons: Onboard memory is pretty puny. Can't connect directly to computer (SD or USB Flash only??). Reason for four eggs.
Summary: For the price paid (after mail in rebate), it's definitely a good value, considering other digital frames go for twice to 3x the amount paid.
Pros: - Easy to use - Not bad looking - Good instructions (though it's really easy to use, you'd be hard pressed to need to read them)
Cons: - Not so good viewing angle (horizontal), fading if you view it at a lower angle. - Inaccurate color reproduction. Has a yellowish tint. - Its claims of "hi definition" images are bunk. For best results, you might want to follow another reviewer's recommendation to reduce the pictures down to 160...
