Summary: I received this frame as a Christmas gift, something that I really wanted. I don't have a lot of experience with these different frames, so I don't have anything to compare it to. The frame is attractive to look at with the wood like outside frame.
Summary: I have had many issues with this photo frame. I have 2,300 photos on a 16 GB SD card. I would expect to not see the same 30 or so pictures over and over again in the span of 15 minutes Then it will freeze on a photo and I have to restart it or advance it. Manual is not helpful at all.
Summary: The user manual makes it seem like this is a super easy product to use; "Just plug it in and save your pictures." Once I plugged it into my computer, I immediately began to get error messages. I finally managed to get some pictures onto it and they looked GREAT!!
Summary: I purchased two of these (specifically model number SPF3483/G7) to give as a Christmas present and had issues with both. I loaded photos onto the frame from the computer and the frame failed to restart.
Summary: I have tried and evaluated 3 different frames. In addition to, or opposite of, other reviews in this section, I will offer the following comments about the Philips 8". My pictures look grainy compared to other 8" frames. Loading them into memory with the "smart save" feature did not improve them.
Summary: From looking at reviews of many digital frames on Amazon it seems that lots of them have reliability issues and end up being returned. Given that, I bought this frame at Walmart so it would be easier to return if necessary. Sadly, I will be returning it today.
