Summary: Bought as a gift for my parents - they love it as they have so many pictures of the grand kids. The high gloss black makes it look sleek and stylish and they've had no problems uploading photos or using it.
Summary: I think this is a good photo thingy. The pictures do look a bit long but I'm sure I can correct this by reading the instuctions properly. It's lovely being able to see your pictures one by one.
Summary: Wasn't sure what it was going to be like after reading a few bad reviews about it, but was very impressed with the clearness and sharpness of the pictures. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend.
Summary: I looked around on the net and got very confused with what was available. Eventually I chose this one as it was high deff and simple to use. I have an 8gb card in it and the pictures look brill. You remember all your old friends and holidays when the pictures come up. Very pleased we bought it. Simple to use and has it's own stand if you want it or you can hang it on the wall. Good all round product.
Summary: I ordered this as a Christmas present but the recipiant was very disappointed that no matter which setting it was on the photos changed too quickly. I thought it was faulty and Amazon very quickly sent a replacement, however the 2nd item was exactly the same. Seems to me that this item isn't designed for multiple photos.
Summary: This is my first digital photo frame. I wanted a frame with an automatic on/off facility and this fits the bill nicely, the resolution is not great but good enough if you don't look to close, the control buttons are a bit hit and miss and I have had the device go into a split screen mode on one occassion. This was easily reset by switching the frame on and off but one shouldn't have do do these things even with a product at the lower end of the price range.
Summary: Bought 2 of these as gifts for both my parents and in laws for Xmas. Both were veryu pleased with the gifts. They were to set up and using the pc it was very easy to get some photos on to an SD card to display on the frame. I have previously had a lesser known make of frame and these were a similar price and I can say that the quality of the Phillips Frame was far superior.
Summary: My daughter got me to get this frame for her husband for Christmas. Having bought it I put pictures on a card but when I tried to look at them found that the picture quality was not good at all and there was a scratch on the screen. I ordered another thinking that it may be just this one and when I did the same with the second it was better but not would not go for this frame again. It was a good price and has many functions but no good if the pictures aren't clear.
Summary: Don't skimp on these things. I gave this as a gift and when it was opened, I was embarrassingly disappointed with the picture quality. I thought that the photos on the site and even on the box looked vivid and in a high res. The reality is somewhat different with grainy images with colour variations and really jittery image transitions.
