Awesome digital picture frame, I would buy more of them
14 July 2014
Summary: Excellent digital picture frame. This is the second Pandigital frame I've purchased but this one is larger and has a remote. I love that you can set up a schedule for it to turn on/off. The controls on the frame can be a bit confusing, but once it's set up you really don't need to touch it. I like the internal memory so you can copy pictures from a memory card onto the frame itself. The picture quality is excellent.
Summary: I bought this for my Mom on Mother's Day and she loved it! The resolution and quality of the display is great and so far no technical problems or glitches. The black frame also goes well with almost any décor/wall color.
Alert: No Warranty Pandigital Chapter 7 Bankruptcy July 2012
8 March 2013
Summary: Pandigital made acceptable digital photoframe products - we own several. They also made a full line of Android Media Tablets, Color eReaders, Personal Scanners. Be advised the company closed its doors in July 2012 and liquidated its assets under Chapter 7 Bankruptcy proceedings and terminated all warranty and service support for its products. If you buy this product, you will have NO manufacturer warranty support.
Summary: I didnt experience any of these problems, I deleted all photos that it came with at once, and uploaded in bulk. It has a slot for SD card or usb, so it was very convenient.Photo quality is nice, and I do believe that whatever frame you will use vertical will always look different that horizontal. Im happy with this purchase.
Summary: I bought this as a present for my senior citizen parents and set about attempting to load pictures onto the internal memory. Here are some of the problems I encountered: 1) None of my mini-USB cords fit the mini-USB port on the picture frame. I was unable to load pictures directly from my computer to the device. 2) The remote that came with the device is needed to select which pictures to import.
Doesn't require memory card - decent digital frame

Summary: Despite other reviewer's comment, this frame does not require a memory card. It has a mini-USB port for importing photos directly to the frame. The internal memory is only 512m, so you may want more storage. The picture is clear and looks great so long as you only use photos of one aspect ratio (either landscape or portrait), the frame does a terrible job of showing portrait oriented photos in landscape mode and visa-versa.
Summary: Who uses memory sticks? My camera has a USB port so now I have to figure out how to get images I've already downloaded into the frame... So you've got images on your CPU and deleted them off the memory stick or camera... so this frame requires importing from a memory stick. What a pain.
