Summary: The Pandigital is easy to set up and use. The combination of great pictures and sound is fantastic. I put together a slide program with music to celebrate our 30 years pf marriage. My wife loved it, and I am really proud of the end product. The touch frame is excellent - everything is right there in front of you. I highly recommend the Pandigital 8" digital picture frame.
Summary: The glass on the frame is a nice feature, but the black 'wooden' frame seems pretty cheap. I returned it because beneath the glass was filled with dust and other debris and it ended up being a little too large for where we wanted to put it.
Summary: At first use, the screen went flat blue with a "Setup" message. Maybe 5 seconds later, it went black and has been that way ever since. After trying every manual setting and adjustment, and every combination of manual controls and inputs, I tried on-line help. Windows says the device is "Not working properly" and the device "Can not be recognized." Their software troubleshooting options all result in "Replace the device".
Summary: If you like to be frustrated, buy this thing. I got it a 3 pm today and worked on it for 4 hours. Almost wanted to step on it. The touch screen is so over engineered. Not simple. This was a gift for my daughter and I am so glad I tried it out first. There are too many defects on this to mention them all. Here are some: Remote control does not work, Touch panel design stupid and aggravating, Sound volume at the max is no more then a whisper. And on and on.

Summary: The only problem with this is it came without the original manual/info pamphlet inside. This meant spending extra time guessing how it worked & figuring out how things work. But I will order another one but not used like this one. I'll pay full price so I can have the manual at my fingertips. But if I do order a used one, I will ask the Seller to include the paperwork that comes with in the original package.
Summary: We ordered this for a grandparent for Christmas. Plugged it in, turned it on, nothing. Inserted an SD card with pics on it and again, nothing. As a matter of fact, the frame erased the pics on the card. Frustrating. Sending it back and buying the Sony instead.
Summary: Our unit was very finnicky and unresponsive upon arrival. We had to press the menu button several times to get anything up. Though we finally were able to set up a slideshow, the sequence was not at all randomly generated. We set a timer to preserve the life of the backlight display, however the thing burned out on day two. It wasn't really worth the money, from day one. We called the manufacturer to report defective merchandise covered by warranty.
