Summary: We were given this frame as a gift. It lasted almost one year. After the year, the frame will show some pictures and then stop on a frame with a red "x" on it. The only way to restart it is to shut it off and start again. This defeats the purpose of a digital frame as it only shows the pictures once and then when it reaches the red "x" frame it stops.
Summary: Norcent PF801 8-Inch LCD Digital Photo Frame I found this frame easy to use, and very beautiful. I was drawn to it because it was so attractive and different from frames seen everywhere. It took no time at all to put photo's on it . I have been very happy with it's performance since purchasing. I will buy more of these frames in the future and recommend them highly.
Summary: I actually got this for $60. Once I received it, I plugged it in, put some pictures on it and it works just great! This images are nice and clean. I'm not a professional, so I'm not interested in any small color shift, or anything else technical. I wanted something to show pictures of my wife and children - this does the trick just fine for me. The docs don't say how much internal storage there is, but I was going to get a card for it anyway.
Summary: I got this for $60 plus tax from another site. The picture frame looks very nice in an 'expensive' wood and metal frame, although I would a prefer larger screen with a smaller frame. The other reviewers say that it comes with software, but mine's comes with no software, so I had to get my own software to resize pictures to 800x600 and upload it to the picture frame. There are several good things about this Norcent PF801.
Summary: I got this as a refurb unit. The frame is pretty high grade, tilts, solid brushed metal and wooden frame (that frame is probably MDF with faux wood)... The looks match the "Executive" label on the box. Pretty slick. Comes with a desk foot, wall mount, and the snazzy desk mount pictured. Pretty much can install it as you wish. The software works well. Simple and clean. I have not noticed any freeze yet.
Summary: It's a nice frame with good picture quality. It even includes a remote. I would not recommend it though, because of the amount of problems I have found. If you leave the frame cycling, then after a couple hours it will freeze on the first photo. the remote will also not work at this point either. I have also found that the remote will not work if you just let the frame sit for a day or so and then try to use it to turn on the frame.
Summary: you find it at Walmart. This frame I purchased at Walmart for approx. $99.00. If the carton says more, have them scan the bar code! It should correct to the $$99 price. I have not found it anywhere else this low on the net. Please REMEMBER, all my comments are based on the fact that this frame was $99! First of all ... it has a great looking screen! Very nice, CRISP resolution (800 x 600).
