Summary: I was disappointed in this frame, it doesn't work with many filetypes.I couldn't upload mpeg, wmv or avi files. Also it doesn't play music behind a photo slideshow. The unit needs better internal software. I purchased a Coby for half the money that is far superior.
Pros: Attractive Design
Cons: No Internal Memory, No mpeg wmv files, Poor software
Summary: Original software is buggy. After playing with it for a bit, it no longer recognized any SD plug-in at all. Had to download the latest firmware from its site into USB drive to update the firmware to fix the problem. Like others said, you may have to increase the resoultion of your photos to 1600~2400 bits in order to get better display quality if you original photos are low in resolution. That increases the sizes but it worth it.
Summary: This frame was a gift for my parents. The brightness is rather low and not uniform and the frame got one stuck pixel after only a few days. The internal memory is rather small, but still adequate if you downsize the pictures (for 150+ pics). Navigation/menu could be improved as well since is not very intuitive.
Summary: I bought two of these frames as gifts. One recipient complained that something is wrong and the images are very dark. When I asked the other person about dark images she said it works best with the lights out otherwise the images are dark.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy Photo Upload, Easy To Use
