  • Summary: This is the second Kodak pulse 7 " digital frame within the last two years. Frist one was a gift. that one lasted about 10 months. This one is about 12- 13 months old. They seem to last just about 11-13 months and then have problem which requires unit to be sent back to factory and refurbished. It is nice when it works but disappointed with the quality of unit; not long lasting and not worth the expense if it is only going to work for a limited amount of time.

Frames died within two months

R, Amazon
25 March 2012
  • Summary: We bought six of these frames for Christmas for different family members. They were great while they worked - easy to use, nice display, options to show one photo at a time or multiple. However, five of the six frames completely died within two months - one just displays a white screen, one continuously does a factory reset after displaying three or four scrambled pictures, one won't receive updated photos...

Dead in less than 3 months

  • Summary: Purchased on 11/28/11 as a Christmas gift for my gf. One day while it was doing a self-check it bugged out and now it does not turn on. Went through troubleshooting with an on-line Kodak rep, pressing buttons on the back an holding then down. It would not turn on. Sending this in for repair. They would not even offer me free shipping to send the product in. This is the SECOND Kodak frame that broke within 3 months of purchase!

  • Summary: I bought this because a friend has 7 of them total and they are really nice and work well. I wanted one and knew had to wait to get it for the price. Then I saw this one and thought ok I'll do it. Refurbished it was not! It still had the other persons pictures on it. Once had removed them and set it all up it worked fine... Until the one day I had family and friends over. Halfway threw diner it went black. I tried for days to fix the problem.

  • Summary: The box came and was labelled 'refurbished' - I somehow missed this fact when I purchased the product...I did not however, miss the bright spots all over the bottom half of the frame that look like stars in the images. I would be very careful about buying from Walmart online again.

Wireless networking doesn't work

G. A Wheeler "gramix", Amazon

  • Summary: Maybe I just got a lemon. I bought this for my parents and first set it up at my house. It took about 15 attempts and would only connect to one of my three wireless routers, an 802.11g with WEP. My 802.11g/n routers with WPA2 were no go. Now I'm at my parents house in New Zealand and it won't even see my dads router (my iPad connected straight away). I'm probably going to have to send it back. It's useless.

  • Summary: When I first purchased this product it worked great and exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, that only lasted a couple of weeks before the frame started to lose its settings every few hours, requiring me to complete the set up process to keep it working several times a day. I contacted Kodak customer support and found them to be useless.
