Was really good when if first came out.

R. Carlon, Amazon
30 May 2014
  • Summary: Framechannel made it a breeze to use and combined pictures from many sources along with weather and other useful data. We even bought a second one for my wife parents so they could always have up-to-date pictures. Now that FrameChannel went under things are a lot more difficult. If you use Flicker it might be ok, but to get any of the other services you could get through FramChannel you need a picture RSS feed.

Clean your products before you sell them.

slivr, Ebay
4 January 2011
  • Summary: This product was shipped, NOT CLEANED, meaning that the Flickr function is inoperable, since the original owner registered their flickr account with the frame. Only the original owner can reverse this action, and they have yet to respond to me after a whole month of waiting. Neither FlickR nor Kodak are willing to help, leaving me with an expensive, useless photo frame.

Don't expect its wi-fi to last

SA, Amazon
2 March 2010
  • Summary: After a year and a half, it finally failed a week ago. The wi-fi doesn't exist anymore. It is gone from the settings. It used to work fine for a very long time. It was a nice frame with customized weather and news over the internet using [..] The only sad thing, its life was limited. Now, it still works only as a regular picture frame using the memory card to play .AVI videos, photos and songs.

Great Idea, Horrible Implementation

Scot Campbell, Amazon
19 September 2009
  • Summary: Just like almost everyone who bought this frame, I wanted it to stream from my Flickr account into my parents home. The usability of this frame is terrible. It drops wireless connection all the time, it freezes, and the UI is awful. The Kodak software you have to use to manage the frame is also terrible. Nothing is user friendly, nothing is intuitive. Even with the latest firmware and software updates. The slide UI is ridiculous and seldom works as expected.

MAC user - DO NOT BUY THIS FRAME

penelope, Amazon
2 January 2009
  • Summary: I bought this digital frame because it has been advertised as being compatible with macs on a number of web sites. It is not - software is not included in the packaging for macs and their website does not offer the "digital display software" needed for all the functions to work on a mac platform - you are paying for wireless capabilities that will not work!!! I am extremely disappointed.
