Over 5 years

Timothy C., Newegg
5 March 2014
  • Pros: I am looking at the thing and listening to the music I put on it right now and I purchased this item over 5 years ago. That says it all!
  • Cons: It would be nice to have a little bit more memory built into it since that is where music has to go. Not a big problem though. This is NOT my stereo after all...

Great resolution. Oversized frame.

Monte C., Newegg
18 August 2008
  • Summary: I really like this frame, but do think it could be smaller as the outside bezel is too big. I know they were trying to make it pretty, but they could have done so differently. This is a minor gripe and I would still buy the frame.
  • Pros: This frame has fantastic resolution and plays pictures quickly. The included remote works well and on/off sleep mode is easy to set up. It recognized my 2gb SD card no problem.
  • Cons: The frame is really too big for the size of the screen. They could have made it 1/3 less big and that would have been fine. The frame sits at a 45% angle as the stand only allows for that angle. Have not been able to play videos yet, but I think my format is not correct.

Much Better than New Version

Lawrence C., Newegg
18 July 2008
  • Summary: The new version of this, the M820 does not have a remote, all functions are on "Quick Touch Border" which is a pain to use. Try the new one and you will see what I mean.
  • Pros: Great Picture display. All functions are on a remote.
  • Cons: Would like random option for display.

Daniel K., Newegg
2 July 2008
  • Pros: Excellent frame. Great picture quality, tons of options - most you will probably never need - liked it so much I bought a second one.
  • Cons: None, nada, zilch

Buy This Frame

Anonymous, Newegg
30 June 2008
  • Summary: Quality of picture and ease of use makes up for the lack of random display and lets me recommend the frame. Good buy for the money.
  • Pros: This frame has a great picture and good viewing angle. Clear / sharp pictures displayed and the filmshow that is preloaded gives plenty of time to look over a picture, but not too much time, before moving on to the next one.
  • Cons: Will not diplay picture randomly so care must be taken to mix them up on the SD card when to transfer from your computer. This is the reason for the 4 instead of a 5 rating.

It Works

Anonymous, Newegg
28 June 2008
  • Summary: It actually arrived a day early... just Newegg at its best once again. Have had some larger purchases on here that amount to way more than just $100, trusted name... great service yet again... thanks Newegg.
  • Pros: Just writing up a quick review since I had the tab available in my "My Accounts" page. Worked right of the box, we had already gotten a USB setup with the pictures we wanted, so it took a whole 5 sec's to see if it worked. Plug in and play.... as easy as it gets.
  • Cons: This has no bearing on the product, but I think it would have been cool to play around with the WiFi version of this product. Screen size is in the middle of most other products, so the price was reasonable for the size.

Very Nice!

RICKY H., Newegg

  • Summary: Nice conversation piece and a great way to show off new pictures. Just take SD card out of camera and put it in frame and turn it on. Simple.
  • Pros: Plugged it in,slid in an SD card, spent 10 minutes with setup of personal preferences, and it worked perfectly. Great screen resolution, nice features. Good little remote.
  • Cons: Wish it was bigger.

sv811

eric r., Newegg
18 June 2008
  • Summary: I think it is good if you plan to keep it on all of the time, turning it off and on is a rather painful process...
  • Pros: Pictures look good, easy to setup, can stretch or crop pictures (based on your preference), you can rotate image right from the unit
  • Cons: As others have mentioned, you cannot shuffle or change the display order. What makes this even worse is every time you turn the unit off and on it starts again from the beginning. Another problem, when you first turn it on it takes a VERY long time to go to the menu, and then you have to tell it ...

Nice!

Eli S., Newegg
15 May 2008
  • Pros: For the money, you can't go wrong here. Sharp picture, pretty much sets itself up. Purchased for my wife for our anniversary and she loves it!
  • Cons: Not a very wide view angle but not bad enough to lower my rating.

Not what it proposed to be...

Rob W., Newegg
28 March 2008
  • Summary: The remote is a bit finnicky if the battery is not brand new.
  • Pros: It looks decent and has a good screen
  • Cons: The software is WEAK and the WiFi is really only good for PC to Frame capabilities. I bought it so that we could send picture to Grandma on a regular basis. You really can't do that easily. You have to join Kodak Gallery and then if you don't buy photos from them, they will close your account. Th...
