Summary: I am very satisfied by the high quality of this digital frame. Before the purchase I was thinking that it would be too big as a picture frame. Fortunately I was wrong. The size is perfect for using that frame in a big living room, because you can appreciate your photos from any distance. The resolution is amazing as well. I recommend this digital frame to anyone.
Summary: When this was new it worked fine but after storing it for an extended period of time, it won't start up. It shows the Kodak logo for a second and then nothing. No answers and no support from Kodak. Power supply is good and I can see the thing with USB connection to my computer. It just won't boot up. Can something break just sitting in the closet not being used?
Summary: As people before me have stated, this device, SV1011, is not worth the price. My husband purchased this product for me in November, 2008. Just this week, it stopped working. It was not dropped or mishandled in any way. After I reset the device, three photos would rotate through and then a blank screen. I called Kodak customer service and other than asking me to "reset" had no other help for me.
Summary: It was good while it lasted. It lasted barely two years. Kodak offered a 15% upgrade and wouldn't even quote a repair fee because they admitted it wouldn't make sense for me to have it evaluated rather than purchase a new product. Quite a business model there, Kodak.
Summary: I was relatively happy with this product until after approximately 18 months it stopped working. I turned it off and unplugged it for a few weeks when we were out of town and when I went to plug it back in and turn it back on it would briefly flash the Kodak banner logo and then went blank. I tried re-setting the frame and every other suggestion I could find online. I am not willing to pay Kodak $125 for repair when I can almost buy a new frame for that.
Summary: I was happy with this product until it suddenly failed after 18 months of use. It was not dropped or mistreated in any way. One day it was working fine, then next day it just flashes the Kodak logo when turned on, then the display goes blank. Repairing through Kodak will cost $125 plus $10.95 S&H, which is absurd. I expect an electronic product to last more than a year and a half, so no more Kodak products for me.
