Summary: Bought this frame after reading positive reviews on CNET. Died in about 8 months - boots up to a white screen. Contacted Kodak and got the distinct impression that their customer service is trained to weasel out of replacing a defective product. It's not worth my time to go after these a-holes but I can post this review to warn others away. This is probably why Kodak is near bankruptcy. Hope they die away soon.
Summary: This frame works as described as long as you are directly in front of it. If you are to the side, even a little bit, the picture washes out and at more angles, becomes impossible to see. Pictures load easily and the menu is easy to use. This is not a good frame to place in a room and see from the entire room.
Summary: I previously had a Kodak digital frame (I forget the model) and it lasted about 2 years before it started freezing up on me. Since I had been using it non-stop for approx 40 hours a week, I thought that lifespan was reasonable. I was looking for fairly inexpensive replacement and after reading reviews for the EasyShare P850 I decided to purchase it. I was pleased initially. The photo quality was good, etc.
