Summary: It's ok for displaying your photos, but the timer bit doesn't work at all. I set it to come on at roughly the time I get home from work, and go off at bedtime. On that first day, it duly went off just as I was going to bed, but when I got up in the morning it was already back on again, even though I had used 24 hour clock. As a result, I rarely switch it on now as I don't want to waste electricity displaying photos to an empty house.
Excerpt: I have so many photos that are backed up from holidays from over 3 years ago and it's at the stage where I really need to print them all as they are taking over my hard drive. However, the part that annoys me the most is that I can never look at the photos while they are stuck on there so when I saw someone with a digital photo frame I liked the concept of it as you can see all of your pictures and it shuffles them up which is a nice idea.
Summary: Great little item, shows the photos well and generally pleased.....But it will keep switching itself on at unselected times. It keeps the selected time well but chooses to switch on at a different time as well. Strange.
Summary: This device disappoints. I wanted a simple stand-alone device to review the contents of the current SD chip away from the camera but this is simply a programmable moving picture show display unit. Design and image quality are good but there is no apparent way to show the picture ID. It is mains powered only although the way it is advertised suggests that it might be battery driven as well.
Summary: I bought this photo frame as a gift for my mum. Very easy to upload pictures and also easy for mum to just switch on a view. My only issue is the description claims the frame to be 7" It is not the actual picture size is much smaller.
Summary: I found the product to be okay and easy enough to set up. We just found it to be too small to have up on the side in the lounge. It would be fine if on a desk say but no good if to be viewed from any distance.
Excerpt: I have over 8,000 photos on my laptop covering about the last 3 years. With two kids whom I take a couple of photos each day this number has steadily crept up over the years and we have now amassed a fortune of gorgeous photos but then there is always the debate about how to display them.
Pros: Looks nice, displays 1,000 photos, different settings
Summary: Came on time,in fact, earlier than promised. Seems simple enough to operate, although no-one else in the house has yet worked out/bothered to learn how, appart from how to switch on! The calender function seems a bit tricky to understand, I have only once managed to set it as I wished, and that was more by luck I think. An internal memory for this function would be a plus, since we are a household which switches everything off at night!
