Summary: I bought this frame for my mom, who is not very tech savvy, and am fairly happy with how it turned out. The frame has a handsome, old-fashioned look (different than the product photo). The frame is rectangular with sharp corners and imitation wood, and the display itself has a white border that looks like traditional photo matte. Pretty cool. It's pretty easy to use if you like to keep things simple.
Summary: I purchased this for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. I loaded pictures from their wedding 50 years ago and let it play during the event. My parent's loved it and then I surprised them and along with the party, the digital picture frame was their gift! They absolutely love it. They are in their 70's and it is easy for them to figure out how to use.
Summary: I bought this as a Mother's Day gift for my Mother and it was quite the disappointment. The navigation menu & buttons were a pain to utilize. I ended up buying my mother another gift and throwing this one in the closet.
Summary: This was an out of town Mother's Day gift. My mother in law received it in excellent time and was very happy to get to see all the pics we sent her. She loves it!!! Would definately recommend to a friend!!
Summary: Hi set mine up last night with a 2gb memory stick and loaded with multiple files of pictures... all set to go... and the the slide viewer did exactly what it was supposed to do, pan through the slides. now the problem is a lot of my pictures I want to zoom and rotate, and yes, there is an option to do this and I figured it out, and it works fine... but, there seems no way to save it in that mode.
Summary: This viewer does all I expected. I noticed some complaints about picture quality, but mine has super sharp and clear images. I use flash memory 8G with Jpeg files. The pictures are as clear as my HDTV. It is possible the others complaining are due to the memory device (SD) or just poor images to begin. I haven't tried video and I liked the autoload slideshow. I haven't used the remote control either.
Summary: ...once you make sure the photo files are correctly tagged. Initially the frame only showed 4 of 30 photos, but after viewing the photo details in the thumbnails, I noticed that the photos not being displayed were missing the picture size tags. To cure this, I edited each picture on the computer (with Microsoft Office Picture Manager, but any photo editor will do), change the picture size, then put it back to the original picture size and save the picture.
