Coby DP-882

The Coby DP-882 is a digital photo frame that measures 9.37 x 7.59 x 2.24 inches (W x H x D). It does not only display photos but plays videos and music as well.

Playback

The DP-882 can be used for photo slideshows with music as it displays JPEG and BMP image files and plays MP3 and WMA audio files. It is also compatible with AVI and MP4 video files

Display

The photo frame features a built-in 8-inch TFT LCD color display that has an 800 x 600 resolution. It has a contrast ratio of 500:1, a brightness range of 300cd/m2, and a pixel response of 10 milliseconds.

Memory

At the frame’s side panel are several slots that are compatible with different flash memory cards including Multi-Media Cards, (MMC), Compact Flash (CF) Cards, Secure Digital (SD) Cards, and xD Picture Cards. It also has a full-sized USB port for fast file transfers.

Power

The Coby DP-882 is powered by a dual voltage (110 / 230-volt) external AC adapter that comes with the standard package.

Audio

The DP-882 features rear-facing built-in stereo speakers. It also has Mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm as well as RCA stereo audio connections.

Compatibility

The photo frame is compatible with MS Windows ME, MS Windows XP, MS Windows 2000, MS Windows 98 SE. It can also be used with Macs equipped with Apple Mac OS X.

Additional Features

Other features of the Coby DP-882 include its adjustable orientation and wall mountable design. It comes with a detachable stand, two interchangeable acrylic frames, a USB cable, and a remote control.
