Small Picture, difficult to load

The Cat, Amazon
12 February 2009
  • Summary: The picture are on the frame was smaller than expected which is my own fault I suppose. The thing that bothered me the most however was the inability to easily transfer images on my computer to the frame.

Sizing your images perfectly on the DP-769

D. Steinberg, Amazon
9 December 2008
  • Summary: After playing around with new photos on this frame for a good hour, I discovered the perfect settings. 1) Crop photo to 840px wide by 468px high. 2) Resize photo to 720px wide by 468px high. It will look slightly distorted, however the frame's display corrects for this.

Adequate frame, a little patience needed

mirau, Amazon
4 November 2008
  • Summary: I had thought about digital photo frames for some time, then received one as a gift, so I had no preconceived notions about performance. Overall I think this was a good basic introduction to the photo frame concept.

needs to be 'plug n play'

Lisa Klein, Amazon
8 May 2008
  • Summary: I purchased this for my mom, who is not very tech savvy. I tested it out before I gave it to her and when I plugged in the SD card, it didn't automatically start playing the pictures.

below average

J. Moon, Amazon
8 May 2008
  • Summary: I purchased this during Black Friday sales, and upon using the product (it was a gift for mom), I'd hesitate before purchasing again. I certainly wouldn't pay more than $60. 1. Photo contrast and ratio is both poor, as noted in previous reviews 2.

Bought one for everyone for Christmas

Dano1988, Amazon
8 May 2008
  • Summary: I bought one of these about 8 months ago and love it. We always have a problem deciding what to buy our grown up children for Christmas so they and the in-laws all got the same thing this year. Also bought 2GB SD cards for each one and have loded them with pictures that we are sure they will like.

Nice

J. Outten, Amazon
8 May 2008
  • Summary: The frame itself is nice, the features it holds. The only issues that I have with it is the fact that you can't plug it into the computer via USB to add pictures onto the frame. Also it would be nice to have the option of auto play in the menu for when you turn on the frame.

Don't waste your money

Gheorghe Chistol, Amazon
8 May 2008
  • Summary: Basically both hardware and software on this thing are poor. You can see individual pixels which makes the images blocky. Doesn't always recognize the JPEGs on my cards. The sound quality is mediocre at best. The finish is cheap and plasticky. I returned it the very day I opened the box.

Photo Frame review

D. Cole, Amazon
8 May 2008
  • Summary: I bought two of these frames for friends who love to share their pictures with others. Rather than print all the pictures, now they can load the picture frame and take the picture frame to show off their work. Both people have reported it helpful and easy to use which was my goal in the purchase.

Image Quality

Randy B, Amazon
8 May 2008
  • Summary: Most of the pictures are washed out in the display, unless they were really dark to begin with. Some of our sunset shots look good, but old family photos - which look just fine in our other digital frame - are way too bright on this one. There is no brightness control.
