Coby DP-557

The Coby DP-557 is a digital photo frame that measures 8.44 x 7.35 x 2.41 inches (W x H x D). It comes with two interchangeable frames in gold and silver colors. The frame has a wall-mountable design and its stand is detachable.

Playback

Although mainly a digital photo viewer, the DP-557 is also a digital video player and a digital audio player. It supports playback of JPEG images, MP3 and WMA audio formats, as well as AVI, XviD, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4 video formats. It can be set to play in slideshow mode with background music.

Display

The Coby DP-557 features a built-in 5.6-inch TFT LCD screen that has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It has an image contrast ratio of 300:1 and an image brightness range of 200 cd/m2.

Memory

The digital photo frame features a full-sized USB port for use with flash memory drives. It also has slots for Memory Sticks (MS), Multi Media Cards (MMC), SD Memory Cards, XD-Picture Cards, and Compact Flash Cards.

Power

The DP-557 has a 12-volt DC power in. It comes with an AC 110/230 V external power adapter.

Audio

The Coby DP-557 features integrated stereo speakers. It also has 3.5mm outputs for composite video and headphones. Apart from these, it has an AV output for use with home theater systems.

Additional Features

The DP-557 has menu language support for English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, and Polish. It also features a calendar and a clock with an alarm timer. The digital photo frame comes with a remote control.
