Summary: I would never, ever buy another Coby product. I bought one of these digital picture frames and it didn't work so I sent it back to Coby. After 5 weeks they still had not sent it back. I called and called and called and kept getting the run-around that it was in "product relocation" which is their way of saying that they have lost the package and can't find it. That is why it is being "relocated" but they don't know where it is being relocated to.
Summary: Nice size, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about this item. The slide show was v-e-r-y slow and when I changed the timing to 5 seconds it made no difference; the slides still took 12-20 seconds to change. It occurred to me that the photos were pretty high res and maybe that was the reason for the slow rate, but this should be stated in the manual.
Summary: THIS IS MY SECOND PICTURE FRAME, I LOVE THE FIRST ONE SO MUCH THAT DECIDE TO GET ANOTHER ONE FOR MY OFFICE, THE PICTURES LOOKS GREAT AND THE BACK GROUND MUSIC AS MP3 PLAYER IS JUST FANTASTIC, LOT OF PEOPLE ARE AFRAID OF THE SIMPLE BRAND "COBY" BUT LET TELL YOU, I OWN A KODAK AND OTHER HIGH NAME BRAND PICTURE FRAMES AND DONATED THEM TO SALVATION ARMY.
Excerpt: I think it is an excellent gift for someone close to you, as the price of this photo frame is too low as compared to some other brands. It also remains close to the person gifted and thus you always remain in his memories. Otherwise too, the Coby DP 102 Digital photo frame is an excellent product and a very intimate companion to me.
Summary: This unit works good for 4-6mths. Then after the 90day warranty is up starts getting hot around where it plugs into from the wall plug, starts hissing and lines appear on the display. Then the manufacture Coby, does not honer the parts or unit because it's past the warranty date.[...
