Summary: First off, the outer box had clearly gotten wet. The inner box had clearly gotten wet, but the frame and associated parts were OK. Why this was on the shelf in this state at Amazon is puzzling, and why the Amazon picker did not notice the clear water damage and pull a different box is also puzzling. That said, the frame works OK as intended.
Summary: just a couple of things I don't like. The buttons on the remote are almost impossible to read - but once you know which button is which - it's fine. Also, mine had a white digital line running half way across the screen when I turned it on -- I was ready to send it back, but once I loaded on some pictures and background music -- I was really happy with how they looked and the sound of the music.
Summary: This frame arrived yesterday - took me seconds to insert the SD card I already had loaded with photographs and was able to give my husband his Anniversary present immediately!! Clarity is very good...I need to get used to the remote (it's not as quick as my cable remote! LOL) - this was the same price offered on the manufacturers web site but the free shipping is why I ordered it here.
Summary: This product is very cheap. It looks good but feels cheap and does not work well. The image quality on the screen is horrible. Compared to my iPad, this does not even come close (no where near close). I do not recommend it.
Summary: I only purchased this frame to run videos for our trade show booth so I can't comment on the ability to display pictures or how those functions work. My observations: - The little kickstand that holds the unit up broke right after I installed it. Fell off as I tilted the unit up to find the power button. One of the tabs that holds it in broke off.
It was a little confusing, but the provider returned it with no problem

Summary: It was difficult to operate and I could not get it to do what I wanted it to do no matter how many times I reread the instructions and tried to fix the menu. Something seems to be wrong with the software. I returned this and was refunded. The seller was very good about processing the return. I think they are a good provider, I just think the product has too many software bugs.
Summary: I loaded 1,000 (yes, one thousand) pictures on a thumb drive as a kind of summary of our family's best pictures over the years. The frame would indeed slide show them in order, BUT I would have to load all 1,000 pictures into the internal memory because the thumb drive sticks out the bottom as an external drive, thus precluding use of the stand. An SD chip would be better as a source of pictures. Another problem: dealing with pictures on an individual basis.
