29 January 2014
  • Excerpt: I just completed a shoot on the beach (The South Florida weather in January is very nice!). Since I hate to put my camera bag down in the sand I performed the entire 3 hour shoot with the Shape Shifter on my back. I was comfortable the entire time! I could not have asked for more.

Great Bag for travel and Carrying

Photobug605, B&H Photo
8 November 2013
  • Excerpt: Seems to be a Great Pack for airline travel (specifically carry on) and for packing gear on location. Durable and spacious enough to carry a 17" Asus laptop, two D800 bases; a 24-70,2.8; 700-200 2.8, 85, 1.8 lenses, 900 Flash and a few other small items. Biggest disappointment was that the lenses must be unattached, so plan on a little time to mount your lenses on location.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Roomy, Strong Construction

Stealthy Shooter Bag

Bill, B&H Photo
3 October 2013
  • Excerpt: Used this to haul 1 camera, strobe, and 3 lenses in main compartment. Carried 2 spare batteries, rain jacket, memory cards, chargers, MAcBook Pro and tripod in the rest of the bag. Other than the tripod carry at night, the bag looked incognito with all the backpacks in Europe. No external give aways for contents. Fit perfectively into the aircraft on flight over. The RRS tripod was in the suitcase. Strap alignment was very comfortable.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Roomy, Strong Construction

  • Excerpt: Although I returned this bag after going through it and loading it up. The idea is very nice, but just didn't meet my needs as I thought it would. As with all Think Tank products, the pack is very high quality and will outlast most photographers.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Expensive

Perfect for small airlines

B, B&H Photo
9 April 2013
  • Excerpt: Great bag. Carried a D3, 2 lenses, a flash, battery chargers, various filters, and all the needed accessories. Also packed a laptop, iPad, and all the associated cables and chargers. The bag fit perfect in the overhead bin of small regional aircraft. My only complaint is that everything is packed unassembled so it takes a second to get the camera out and snap a shot. Not the bag if you are walking around taking pics but perfect for traveling with your gear.
  • Pros: Roomy, Strong Construction

If you plan on using it while shooting it will be hard to switch lenses because you have to put it down.

Sack of potatoes

Rudiger, B&H Photo
10 November 2012
  • Excerpt: I was originally attracted to this bag for its versatility. Although it can take up very little room, it does not offer sufficient protection for expensive gear. I also noticed that if the bag is not filled up or packed tightly you can feel your gear shifting around inside. I think it is a great idea for a backpack but not if you are entrusting it with the safety of often expensive photo/video gear.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Roomy
  • Cons: Cumbersome, Minimal Padding, No Protection
