  • Summary: I don't always take my camera bag every time I go out. This is great to slip a lens into and a couple of filters plus an extra chip. This works well for me.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Good Value

Dave, B&H Photo
29 October 2008
  • Summary: This lens case is well-made and well-priced. The mechanism for attaching the case to a camera bag or belt is sturdy and secure. As others have noted the snaps at the bottom of the attaching loop can be difficult to fasten. Since the case is fairly long or deep (6.75 inches), it would be nice if there was a padded flap either halfway down the case or one that could be inserted.
  • Pros: Lightweight, Strong Construction

Great case, great price!

  • Summary: Good size, durable and well constructed. Snap is a little tricky when fastening the case to my Tamrac backpack, but once attached I am confident it will NOT fall off! So far, it's doing an excellent job of protecting my 100mm Canon macro. I would definitely buy other lens case by Tamrac.
  • Pros: Strong Construction, Well Padded
  • Cons: Snap is hard to snap

Very handy!

3 September 2008
  • Summary: My photography is largely landscapes and natural history. I use a Canon 5D with 28-135 and 70-300 IS lenses. I carry this case on my belt and change lenses on the fly. The 70-300 fills the case and the 28-135 is also accessible. Both lenses are held securely. This case has a strong velcro belt loop for security. The zip closing might be more handy if it were also velcro.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Zipper closing

Excellent Addition to my Tamrac Case

Cold Guy, B&H Photo

  • Summary: I bought this product to add to the side of my Nikon D200 carry case, also by Tamrac. I can fit either my 105 mm or my 70-300 in it, including lens hoods, caps, etc. Great deal and great item. Highly recommend.
