Excerpt: I love my new Tamrac PRO lens cases. THhey work great with my Tamrac bag and most importantly they protect my lenses. You can tell they are built well and will hold up over time. Also they are real easy to switch out with different cases/bags down the road if needed. These are a must have if your camera bag is growning.
Excerpt: BEWARE: I own other Tamrac lens cases manufactured in the US. After ordering I learned this version is made in China. There is a SIGNIFICANT difference in the quality - half the protective padded thickness, no hard bottom, no shoulder strap rings, and you must fight with this zipper to get it opened (zipper sticks). My US made Tamrac is far superior and very smooth zipper.
Excerpt: I got this lens case so I could carry my Nikon 12-24 Wide Angle Lens w/lens hood on my Tramrac M.A.S Belt while hiking. This is one case that will finally allow me have the wide angle lens with me.
Excerpt: The Canon 16-35mm f2.8L II fits nicely with the hood attached. Nicely padded but zipper action not as smooth as I would like, but that is due to the weather flap getting in the way. It would be quite big for this lens if you do not have the lens hood attached though.
Excerpt: I purchased the case for my Canon 16-35 L lens. This case is listed on the Tamrac wegbsite as appropriate for this lense. Although it is not a snug fit, it wobbles, it does seem to protect the lense well -- at least so far.
Pros: Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded
