Disappointing Compared to Tamrac USA

G-Man, B&H Photo
25 September 2014
  • Excerpt: BEWARE: I own other Tamrac lens cases manufactured in the US. After ordering I learned this version is made in China. There is a SIGNIFICANT difference in the quality - half the protective padded thickness, no hard bottom, no shoulder strap rings, and you must fight with this zipper to get it opened (zipper sticks). My US made Tamrac is far superior and very smooth zipper.
  • Pros: Durable, Lightweight
  • Cons: Inadequate Protection

Good case

30 July 2013
  • Excerpt: The Canon 16-35mm f2.8L II fits nicely with the hood attached. Nicely padded but zipper action not as smooth as I would like, but that is due to the weather flap getting in the way. It would be quite big for this lens if you do not have the lens hood attached though.

The proper case for the proper lense

KRay, B&H Photo
14 May 2012
  • Excerpt: I purchased the case for my Canon 16-35 L lens. This case is listed on the Tamrac wegbsite as appropriate for this lense. Although it is not a snug fit, it wobbles, it does seem to protect the lense well -- at least so far.
  • Pros: Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded
