Very Nice

BPShooter, B&H Photo
4 July 2015
  • Excerpt: This pack will work out very nice with some limitations which is why I only give it 4 stars. The fit is very tight for my Canon 7d mark 2 and 70/200 lens. The little pockets on the side access tend to drop their contents when the hatch is opened (if the items are too small).
  • Pros: Strong Construction
  • Cons: Too Small

Lots of options!

  • Excerpt: This bag holds a wide variety of gear with lots of different configurations and access points. The zippers are pretty stiff to start, but I guess it's better than their being loose and getting sloppy. My only real complaint is that this bag really isn't built for a tall guy like me. (I'm 6'5".
  • Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Chest Strap Placement

Very Well Thoughtout

  • Excerpt: This is one of the better working bags around for hikes as well as location work. Very easy to access everything, has plenty of room for a fairly large kit. Works to hold several lenses and a couple pro bodies...it is not too bulky and offers very good protection as Tamrac is known for.

Just what I was looking for

Mike, B&H Photo
20 February 2014
  • Excerpt: I was looking for a backpack that I could take on a couple of extended trips. I needed a backpack that I could carry a 5D MkII, a couple of lenses, flash, & accessories. I also needed one that would work as a carry-on because I certainly don't want to surrender my equipment to airline personnel.

Great camera backpack

  • Excerpt: Good solid, stable backpack. Only thing I would add to future backpacks is to have more padding on front part of backpack and different tripod support pocket. Good for traveling

An excellent bag that serves me well.

  • Excerpt: I carry a Rebel 3Ti camera kit with an additional 75-300mm lens, a second Panasonic camera and a Sony camcorder. Everything is well protected and the dividers are adjustable. I just wish the inside would be of a light color. I appreciate the multiple pouches to hold filters, memory cards, etc..

  • Excerpt: I got this backpack in the mail this morning, so I cannot comment on how durable it will be months from now. I am exceptionally happy with my purchase. The 5788 seemed like the best fit for me.

Good!

Jo, B&H Photo
14 March 2013
  • Excerpt: I give it 4 stars because when I put lenses inside the bag, the camera itself even with a 50mm attached becomes very tight to get in. Definitely recommend this for those who are going out for photowalks with minimum amount of gear. Everything else is same as advertised. Very nice camera bag!!!
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Cumbersome, Heavy

Holds a fair mount! And comfortable.

  • Excerpt: I compared various choices and concluded that this bag was the best balance of size, organization and ease of use for my needs (D800 with two large lenses). There is also a space to keep your tablet computer. Good purchase.
