  • Summary: I'm really disappointed in the room available. It doesn't really fit my one body and three lenses and a flash. If I carried to bodies, I wouldn't have room. This is the biggest Velocity they make, and the diagrams that show how all the equipment fits in the bag are plain inaccurate and misleading. I also can't stand that the bottom of the bag is not flat, so things roll around from the compartment I put them in to the middle of the bag.
  • Pros: The bag itself is well constructed.
  • Cons: Overpriced and not as roomy as advertised.

disappointed with this, B&H Photo

  • Summary: I bought this bag for an upcoming trip. based on the images from Tamrac I was counting on being able to top load both my Canon 1DsII and Nikon D3. when I went to try to do this, it could only be done if you force the cameras into position. there isn't an inch of room between the grips and they bang and scratch at each other.

25 March 2009
  • Summary: I usually carry a d300 with grip attached to the 70-200 or the sigma 150-500. I usually have both lenses in the bag and everything fits nicely.
  • Pros: Comfortable Strap

Capacity and Versatility

  • Summary: This bag allows me to pack all my gear including the 70-200L IS lens mounted to the camera in safety and with instant access. The bag slips around your body to allow you to open the top and remove the camera with lens attached without removing the bag from your shoulders which is essential for mobile shoots.
  • Pros: Comfortable Strap, Good Protection
  • Cons: Camera sits a little high

Great Design!!!

  • Summary: Pro's: Unique Design - tried many slings but this one stands out because the top opens away from your body and the wide-mouth gives you full access to all your gear while protecting it from spilling out or being stolen. Fits Comfortably - Can be slung across one shoulder to carry it, or carried as intended across your back. Handle on top is very useful.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Great Design

Finally somebody made the bag I need.

Jonny Chuck, B&H Photo

  • Summary: All I need when I travel overseas is two bodies, one with a 24-70 zoom and one with a 70-200 zoom. A flash or two fired by pocket wizards. Maybe one extra lens like a 50 f1.4 or a 16 to 35 zoom, The trick is to have the cameras mounted to lenses with the lens shade on them. I need 14 inches to do that. With this top loading bag I can do that.
  • Pros: Comfortable

Top !
