Great build quality, but design could be improved . . .

Summary: Having used Tamrac gear for years, I have been impressed by the excellent build quality and sharp appearance of their products. Generally the materials are high quality, very durable, and the workmanship superb. I wanted a heavy duty backpack with enough space for two bodies, three or four lenses, a flash unit, flash meter, battery pack, flash bracket, filters, spare batteries, a tripod, and miscellaneous accessories.
Summary: The 5586 Backpack is an carrying case for the amateur digital photographer. It will make a welcome addition to the photographer's equipment array. However, the backpack could have been improved upon and made more useful) by having an opening at the top of the back and an over-the-shoulder carrying strap - similar to the Tamrac backpack that I have had and used for more than 20 years.
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Strong Construction
Summary: Very good backpack. I have several other high end camera bags, and this bag ranks as one of the top bags I have used. Very comfortable, and has plenty of room for two camera bodies, and several lens'. Tamrac designed a winner.
Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Smart layout, Strong Construction
Excerpt: I purchased this bag for my brother who is a semi-pro photographer and needed a proper bag for his equipment. I have an Adventure 9, so knew Tamrac's quality was top notch. This fit all of his gear and seems to have a little room to grow.
