  • Excerpt: This is exactly what I was looking for. Enough for my GH4, a few lenses, audio, Gorilla Pod and small stabilyzer and then some. I use the area up top for my GorillaPod and Stabilyzer and some can headphones. Below I have a GH4, 3 lenses, RodeMic, Lav Mics, Audio recorder and more.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction

Great Pack

  • Excerpt: I already had the 5549 Adventure 9 backpack, but the 5550 has even more space! This comes in real handy when traveling and needing to pack a spear change of clothes for when the air line looses your suitcase. There is plenty of room for two camera bodies and a handful of lenses and a flash.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Roomy, Strong Construction

  • Excerpt: A bit big for a hack bonehead like me but in reality I use the space. Built like a tank and even though I really baby my stuff I am fully confident hauling gear in any of my Tamrac bags.

Adventure 10 Backpack

10 March 2015
  • Excerpt: I purchased this backpack so I could carry my D810 & 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII. It's comfortable to wear and there's plenty of room for more equipment. The top compartment is nice for carrying a light jack and lunch. At this price you can't go wrong.

So far I'm impressed

  • Excerpt: I've been looking for a backpack to carry my photography gear for a while. I made the mistake a few years ago of spending a lot of money for a backpack that would carry 'everything'. The thing was so big it was heavy before I ever put anything in it.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction

Rugged pack

7 August 2010
  • Excerpt: I purchased this to carry my camera and 17" laptop while traveling. It holds all of my important lenses, including my 70-200mm zoom and one camera body with no problem. Once loaded up, it's heavy, but gives good protection for the equipment inside.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Heavy, No tripod connection

Good for hiking and photography

physics hiker, B&H Photo
13 July 2008
  • Excerpt: I bought this camera pack because I want to carry camera gear with on short day hikes (3-7miles) when I don't want to carry my primary day pack. The Adventure 10 backpack has a good division between camera and hiking gear.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Inadequate waist strap

MULTI-functional

PeteP, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: This is the ultimate back-pack to carry all your gear. I mean all of it. It is as tall as another back-pack I own that the airports allowed me to take it as a carry-on. It looks bigger, but once you put them side by side, they are identical in size.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Plenty room for gear, Strong Construction
