Good but not perfect

xraydoc, B&H Photo
9 March 2011
  • Excerpt: I was looking for a wheeled carry-on bag that had a padded compartment for my camera/lens and pocket for my computer. The bag had all the features I was looking for. Here are the issues I have: 1) Computer pocket not easily accessible. A minor problem when going through airport security. 2) Expanding handle did not sufficiently lock when open. Once it actually pinched my finger while collapsing...ouch. 3) Compartments are hard to get to because of the buckles.
  • Pros: Strong Construction, Well Padded
  • Cons: Cumbersome, Hard To Access Equipment, Poor handle lock

One of the best travel Briefcase

Mindset Media, Russ, B&H Photo
17 January 2011
  • Excerpt: I trave with a 17inch Mac Book Pro along with drives and card readers and just about anything else I can fit in my briefcase. This Briefcase will fit everything including the drives and a 5dM2 body with a 24-70 lens. And all the support minus the tripod. I have to say it is kind of deep in the main compartment but that really lets you stack things you would normally not use until you landed at the hotel and started to build your work station.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Poor Padding

A big bag that works

Richard skier, B&H Photo
30 June 2010
  • Excerpt: Great bag, it holds two Nikon D300s with big lens ( 70-200 & 20-70) and two others plus two flash heads with various controlers, lens hoods, lap top and more. You can still lift it, the wheels are great BUT the big aspect is it free stands and you can very quickly get out what you need, no having to take it off your back, lay down and open.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Too Small for a serious photographer

Strick, B&H Photo
7 April 2010
  • Excerpt: Doesn't fit very much into case. Otherwise it seemed to be well made. Doesn't fit what it claims to fit.
  • Pros: Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded
  • Cons: Not Enough Pockets

It worked!

Pam, B&H Photo
7 April 2010
  • Excerpt: I purchased the express briefcase to take to Africa-I needed to carry two camera bodies. four lenses, a laptop and all the chargers, polarizers, cleaning equipment etc. I did not want to take a large backpack because on several international flights with even a mid-size backpack I have had problems stowing it and also with flight attendants who wanted it checked. The briefcase fit under even the smallest seat although on one puddle jumper I had to pull the laptop.
  • Pros: Comfortable
  • Cons: Hard To Access Equipment

BEST BAG FOR AIRPORTS AND PLANES

[@], B&H Photo
17 March 2010
  • Excerpt: I travel frequently with this bag filled with my 300mm prime lens, 100mm macro, a wide angle, 24-70mm, 70-200mm, flash, Canon 5D and Canon 5Dmark II. 17"MAC also. Once I was stuck on a tiny commuter plane only 20 seats and I was still able to stuff this under the seat with all my gear thank heavens.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Love this case

Linda the weblady, B&H Photo
30 June 2009
  • Excerpt: I chose this case primarily because it looks like a regular brief case and it is oriented horizontally. The horizontal position provides a lower center of gravity and allows me to stack another bag on top when I travel by air. The case holds my wide screen pc, 2 cameras, several lenses and my Nikon SB800 and SB600 flashes fit perfectly into the left and right side outside pockets.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Make sure you can return it !

Sheryl, B&H Photo
20 April 2009
  • Excerpt: It definitely holds two cameras with lenses attached, but, everything else in your bag will not have a place unless it's WAY down in the deepest darkest depths. So, if you want your portable hard drive to hook up to the laptop, you'll be digging to China to find it and its cords. No place to store cards, batteries, cords, filters, et. al... unless you want to throw them in the bottom.
  • Pros: Lightweight, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Hard To Access Equipment, Poor Padding

OK, but not very protective

Fljournalist, B&H Photo
19 April 2009
  • Excerpt: I used this case for the first time this week on a cruise. The bag tumbled out of our bus luggage bay (about a six-inch drop) and I ended up with a nasty ding on the side of my Macbook Pro. It also took a few minutes for me to figure out how to orient/pull the bag to where it didn't tip from side to side as I was going through the terminal. Then, of course, the handle collapsed a couple times.
  • Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment
  • Cons: Handle malfunction, No locking zippers, Poor Padding, Tips side to side easily

great bag for traveling

Rodo, B&H Photo
31 March 2009
  • Excerpt: I was tired of carrying single dslr with lens on my shoulder. this held a d3 with normal zoom, 70-200 f2.8, big flash, 28-200, d200 w/o lens and a d70 with normal lens. not to mention a big laptop with room to spare. handle is very tall if needed and wheels work great. fits easily in overhead compartment. only wish was it had a secure place to "clip" a secure sleeve holding memory cards.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Great Design, Strong Construction, Well Padded
