Summary: I carry my Canon 40D with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM lens with the Lens Hood EW-83E attached and inverted. In the bottom of the case, I also carry an EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens and three B+W circular polarizer filters in their cases too. The front zipper pocket carries my extra battery and compact flash cards along with some other incidentals. I also purchased and attached a M.A.S. Lens Case - X-Large, MX5379 to carry my Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens.
Summary: My new Nikon D300 fits great with the 18-200 lens. The pocket in front gave me enough roon for extra battery, cards, and even a point and shoot camera. The pocket inside held a filter and lens cloth. The only thing is that I bought a new strap that is padded and more comfortable than the one that was included.
Pros: Good Protection, Lightweight, Lots Of Pockets And Features, Weatherproof
Summary: This bag works well - built very good. Holds a 40D Canon w/70-200 2.8 with a battery grip. Will not hold much more then that. If front pocket was bigger - a flash would be a great assy to carry. Not sure what the pocket is for - 35mm film I guess . . . . Over all good buy - best value out there! T.
Pros: Comfortable Strap, Good Protection, Lightweight
Summary: Large and bulky, but provides good protection to the camera and lens. When I am not using a longer lens and want to take along a flash, it fits nicely on top of the camera body and still allows the top to be closed
