Great bag

Brule Laker, B&H Photo
13 May 2014
  • Excerpt: My old bag was too small for my Olympus E-5, and this one is just right. Holds the camera, my 40-150 and 70-300 lenses, with room for filters, batteries, memory cards and the like. Easy to get the camera out. Hangs well across the body.
  • Pros: Comfortable Strap, Durable, Good Protection, Lightweight

nice bag but only for 4/3rds systems

27 August 2013
  • Excerpt: OK bag, nice size to travel perfect for 4/3 cameras I was caring one plus one more point and shoot Lumix LF1, and one more lens. Outside mesh pockets are great for water bottle and umbrella the only thing it is bit flimsy - not much of the padding but again you'll never find a perfect bag.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment

Great Bag

Vinman, B&H Photo
18 July 2013
  • Excerpt: Just used this on a three week trip to Italy and it was great. I was able to fit a full size DSLR with 24-105mm lens, 16-35mm wide angle lense and external flash. It also has a front pocket where I could carry accessories such as extra batteries, memory cards, wallet and what not. It also has two side pockets for water bottles. My only gripe is the front clasp, it was a little tricky to close at times only because you need to get the right angle.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction

Just what I've been looking for

Capit4, B&H Photo
17 April 2013
  • Excerpt: I was searching for a bag to hold some of my gear for short trips. The Tamrac Rally 6 will hold a Canon 5D MkIII with the Canon 70-300mm L lens attached, Canon 24-105mm L and a Canon 430 EX II all in the main compartment. There is additional room in the front pockets for a battery charger, extra battery and another small item like a cell phone, flash cord or manual. Another bonus are the outside mesh pockets to hold bottled water. The bag is slim and compact.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction
  • Cons: None

It's "ok"

6 February 2013
  • Excerpt: While this bag is easy to get into, it really is limited in usable space and protection of gear. I have a Canon 5D and my wife has the Ti2; great for her stuff as it is smaller and lighter. Not so great for mine.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Easily Accessible Equipment
  • Cons: Too Small

Tamrac Rally 6 Camera Bag. / Brn.&Tan

  • Excerpt: I use this bag as my birding field bag. It holds my Leica Ultravid binoculars, several bird I.D. field guides, lens cleaning cloth, lens cleaning fluid, lens brush, sm. First Aid Kit, reading glasses, Mini flashlight, sm. Swiss Army knife, and other small assorted items. And still has a little room left. It's been working out very well so far.

User Review

Photography Review
17 August 2012
  • Summary: A real nice functional bag at a very reasonable price.
  • Pros: Well made, just the right size, comfortable design to carry.
  • Cons: In place of the two large pockets inside the front zipped compartment, it should have the typical set up for cf/sd cards, batteries etc. It's a bit difficult digging though the two large pockets for small items.

Great Bag

Bboodoggle, B&H Photo
19 June 2012
  • Excerpt: My favorite part about this bag is that it doesn't necessarily look like a camera bag and fits well for around town photography. I can easily fit my Canon t2i with a 55-200mm lens attached, a 18-55mm lens, a 50mm lens, a 430EX II speed light, batteries, several misc filters, and still have room for a pair of sunglasses. Its great for me cause it fits all of my gear with a little room to spare. Build quality is great and I expect it to hold up for quite some time.
