great strap

Mark, B&H Photo
20 January 2009
  • Summary: I have had a variety of straps including some very nice ones by Tamrac and Op-Tech, but this is my favorite of all the straps I've used in the last twenty years. It's extremely comfortable, carries the weight of my camera well, and I'm not really aware of it as I would be with less well designed straps.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Easy to attach

Tim B, B&H Photo
16 October 2008
  • Summary: An excellent replacement camera strap. It attaches firmly to the camera. But allows enough movement around the neck. So that it never seems too short or too long for carrying it around in the field.
  • Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Does not Chafe, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Lowepro Voyager C Camera Strap

Dell Gonzales, B&H Photo
27 August 2008
  • Summary: I use the camera to carry my Canon 40D typically with 24-70L lens (HEAVY) attached. The rubber bit behind the comfortable neck strap keeps the camera strap from sliding and is comfortable even when carrying a heavy lens/body combination. Pros: Quick release attachments for those times on tripod when the strap would be in the way. Cons: Only one, the strap itself when extended fully is still an inch or so too short. I would like to see more adjustment room.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Does not Chafe, Strong Construction, Well Padded

A Rather Strapping Strap

NikonD300 Lover, B&H Photo
29 July 2008
  • Summary: Use it on my Nikon D300, which is no lightweight. Feels very secure. I like the fact that it's not too long, because when you wear it across the chest, it has almost no slack. Therefore, very little swinging around and it helps keep the camera tight against your face to reduce camera movement. Also, less chance for it getting twisted.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Does not Chafe, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Good but expected better from Lowepro

Adam, B&H Photo
13 July 2008
  • Summary: Good camera strap. I like the padding which is what I bought it for. I'm not sorry I bought it. But it doesn't meet the standard I expect from Lowepro. The plastic pieces feel very cheap to me. There is not enough slack on the adjustable straps. The memory card holder does not make me feel secure that cards would not fall out. And although it is detachable, taking it off leaves exposed velcro - why would I want that. This product does what I expect.
  • Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Does not Chafe

Awesome strap!

  • Summary: Highly reccomend this strap, I love the quick release buckles and the memory card pouch is a nice touch. The strap is VERY comfortable and it's easy to forget there's an SLR strapped to your shoulder. I do wish there were bearings at the metal loops, somtimes I find myself unwinding the straps out of my bag.
  • Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Does not Chafe, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Well designed and Comfortable

Wajid Drabu, B&H Photo
29 May 2008
  • Summary: This strap does it job well. It's made out of good quality material and sits well around the neck. I attached it to my D300 and it balances the weight well enough not to cause any strain. In my opinion wider the strap, better it is because the weight is evenly distributed around the neck. I like the fact that it has quick release buckles, the strap can be quickly removed when shooting long exposures to minimize any chance of a blur due to wind.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Does not Chafe, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Comfortable and...short

Ned, B&H Photo
29 April 2008
  • Summary: This strap is extremely comfortable to wear for all day shooting especially with the heavier pro and semi-pro cameras with motors attached. However, I found the strap to be too short when hanging around my neck. Could be just an issue for me, I am 6'4".
  • Pros: Comfortable, Does not Chafe, Strong Construction, Well Padded
  • Cons: Short
