Nikon D7100 w/grip fits perfectly

ARP, B&H Photo
16 June 2014
  • Excerpt: This bag holds my Nikon D7100 with its MB-D15 grip and Nikkor 18-200mm lens perfectly. There is additional room under the padded partition. The materials/workmanship are very high quality and there are an ample number of zippered compartments. The padding is thick and dense. Best bag I have ever purchased.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, High-quality Materials, Perfect D7100 Wgrip Fit, Well designed
  • Cons: None

Really protects my lens well!

  • Excerpt: I wanted a bag that allowed my lens to be carried without weight being put on it. This bag is great for that because it has a little shelf the camera sits on and my 17-50mm lens hangs freely in a downwards position. The bag is constructed well and protects my camera and lens. I can use the chest harness with this bag and have it right there in front of me, hands free! Just love this bag.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction

  • Excerpt: Fits my 6D & 24-70/2.8 II (hood reversed). Well padded, useful pockets and such. Protects my gear and that's really what I was after. Small enough to fit in my day-hiker bag.

Perfect for a fully-equipped OM-D E-M1

  • Excerpt: So the LowePro site Bag Finder will tell you to get the Top Loader 70, but if you're looking for a holster-style bag for your Oly E-M1 with 12-40mm PRO lens and added battery grip ... AND included flip-flash, this is the case. You can put it in (hood reversed) with the telephoto fully extended or, with about 2" of filler at the bottom, fully retracted. I use a rolled-up strap inside a small neoprene Hood Hat.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction

Right size for 5D/6D + 24-70 or 24-105

  • Excerpt: I hike regularly and always have my 5D and now 6D with me, I have my cameras mounted on Cotton Carrier and they are good combo for quick access and I rarely missed a shot. But sometimes in a rainy day the extra weather proof is a must, the Pro 65 AW is the right choice in such conditions. It takes some practice to unzip/unbuckle and get the camera out of the bag, I might miss some shots but protection should be the number one priority.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction

Great for single camera hiking

  • Excerpt: I was looking for a bag to carry one body with short zoom attached for an upcoming desert slot canyon photo vacation. This is perfect. Good strap support, well protected, (banging into rocks is inevitable) and can be sealed again dust. I can fit my Nikon D7000 with battery grip and either the 16-85mm zoom or the 70-300mm zoom with no problem. By not using the included shoulder strap, I can fasten with a belt strap, so I can move it around front to back, in tight spots.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Easy to carry, Good Weather Protection, Small, Strong Construction

Excellent holster

  • Excerpt: This is my second Toploader Pro. I have a 75 model for the 70-200 2.8 lens, but wanted a smaller bag for the full size camera with a grip. It is a good combination of size, protection and utility, especially when paired up with a lens case. The strap is excellent too; stays in place and distributes the weight well.

Excellent compromise of access and cost

  • Excerpt: The Top Loader Pro 65 AW Camera Bag is well built and provides good protection for my camera and lens. I use a Lowepro Pro Runner 350 AW Backpack to carry my full kit. However, there are shoots where I know I will only need one body and a lens or two. I also wanted a padded bag that suspended the camera so that it did not rest on the lens. The Top Loader Pro does that. It works well when I know what equipment I need and don't want to carry a more complete kit.

Sturdy and compact

  • Excerpt: It is too small for my D3. It is fine for the D300s....so (as one would expect) it depends on the camera....
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Too Small
