Lowepro Stealth Reporter D100 AW review by ktwse

  • Summary: First of all, it just doesn't make sense to rate a camera bag's image quality, does it...? That said, this is one great bag. If you have a fairly compact setup, it will fit perfectly in this bag. I have used a number of bags and usually alternate between shoulder bags and backpacks, however on getting a Pentax K-7 with a couple of the lovely DA Limited primes, I wanted a compact shoulder bag to use both for day trips as well as for travel.
  • Pros: Great, small size, excellent build quality, lots of nice touches
  • Cons: Bulky shoulder strap

  • Summary: I love this bag. I wanted something a little more modern than my old canvas Domke bag, but I didn't want the structure and excessive padding of a traditional camera bag. In addition, living in the Pacific NW, I wanted something with great weather protection (rain...). The all weather cover provides just that. This the almost perfect bag for my D-200, 18-70 and 80-200/2.8.
  • Pros: light, small, capable
  • Cons: just barely holds my 80-200/2.8

Excellent carry case

  • Summary: This bag is robust and adaptable with removable internal compartments, several strap/handle arrangements to suit all situations. I find it perfect for carrying my Lumix FZ 150 with LT 55 lens and adaptor fitted on to save keep dismantling it. The internal compartments can be taken out if required, as I do, or left in to separate camera and up to two lens.
  • Pros: Comfortable Strap, Compact, Durable, Good Protection, Lightweight

  • Excerpt: I see and feel the quality of this bag. But I personally find it way too compact for my liking!
  • Pros: Unfortunately I must of been one of the few to buy the wrong sized bag, but I have to say; I think the compartments were made a bit too small. My camera and lenses and all the equipment that goes with it is not abnormally big - and I have been constantly struggling to get my stuff in and out of the compartments. I eventually ended up buying a much larger one and everything fits perfectly.
  • Cons: It doesn't seem very stealth like...

Not as big as it says it is

  • Summary: This bag, like all Lowepro products I've experienced, is well-constructed and is pretty configurable. Unfortunately, I had to return it for two reasons that aren't entirely clear from the description on this site (or Lowepro's own site).Firstly, the quoted internal dimensions are the maximum with the removable padding removed - this means, for example, that a 147mm-wide D700 is not just a tight fit, as I'd hoped, if you want to put it in sideways (leaving more room for...
