I would buy this product again and again

Alexandr, B&H Photo
13 March 2009
  • Summary: It is a high quality, safe, comfortable and all weather sling bag. I place there Canon 40D, EF-s 17-55 IS USM, EF 100-400 IS USM, 2 flashes (Canon 580EX II, Sigma 500 super) and also spare accumulation batteries, various cables. Al things will fin their pockets in the bag. Plus there is a space for a couple of zoom objective lenses, and, if necessary, a space for one carcass. Outside eyelets allow sticking tripod, monomode.

No security features!

23 February 2009
  • Summary: I wasn't aware how bulky and boxy this bag actually was until it arrived. Yikes! Makes the "sling" aspect of it almost pointless, since it's almost too large and clunky to swivel from front to back. I have some serious equipment to haul around, so I guess I don't have a choice. However, my biggest concern is the lack of security options on this bag. There's absolutely NO way to padlock any of the zippers together.
  • Pros: Fits all my gear
  • Cons: Boxy and bulky, Does not swivel easily, No metal zippers, NO security features

Excellent Product if it's what you want.

  • Summary: This is a great bag to hold a LOT of gear and a laptop. The waist belt goes a long way in helping hold that weight but only if you use it. Unfortunately if you have the belt tight enough to do that you will need to undo it to swing the bag around to open it. It holds all my main gear with ease but beware a lot of gear is heavy. It would be with or without this bag. So fully loaded this is a heavy bag. That's just the reality of it.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Great for short trips

25 November 2008
  • Summary: I wanted to be able to access my camera and lenses without having to take off the bag and rest it on the ground. I'm able to store my Canon 40D with 70-200 mm lens attached. The 70-200 zoom lens can only be placed across in the bag. My 17-40, 28-135 lens and 2X converter can fit vertically in the padded divided areas. I could probably remove the padded divided areas on one side to store a 400 f5 lens.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction, Waist strap, Well Padded
  • Cons: No place for tripod, Too heavy for long hikes

  • Summary: i liked the layout of the bag and the ease of getting to the camera without removing the bag from my shoulder. If I had any complaint it would be that the laptop space is a little small and it is difficult to get the laptop in and out
