Summary: Amazon Verified Purchase ( What's this? ) This review is from: Lowepro SlingShot 302 AW (Electronics) It seems I am always looking for another bag. This one is extremely well rounded. I have a Nikon D700 with the added grip and many bags will not work with that combination. Add a 70-200 f2.8 and the list gets smaller.
Summary: This review is from: Lowepro SlingShot 302 AW (Electronics) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this? ) If you're looking at the Lowepro SlingShot camera bags for the first time, I will start by telling you a bit about how they are meant to be worn. This is a backpack with a single shoulder strap. The strap sits on your right shoulder, diagonally crosses the front of your body, and attaches to the bag again at your left side.
Summary: This review is from: Lowepro SlingShot 302 AW (Electronics) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this? ) I received the Lowepro SlingShot 302 AW as part of the Amazon Vine program four days ago. I own a Cannon SLR and would have never thought about a carrying case such as this. The concept is great! My biggest problem is the strap is meant to go over the left shoulder and not the right and there is not a way to change this (see the pictures I uploaded).
Summary: This review is from: Lowepro SlingShot 302 AW (Electronics) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this? ) I was looking for a bag that allowed a whole bunch of options. I don't have a digital SLR (yet), but I do have a 35MM SLR with several lenses. My current bag is an older Lowe Pro that holds my SLR, two lenses and a flash. I also have a point and shoot digital, a digital HDD video camera, a full size tripod and a host of acessories.
Perfect for the semi-pro that needs to carry everything.

Summary: Also it's pretty comfortable even on long walks with 11lbs of gear in it. I have 5 lens, a flash, camera body, bunch of filters and accessories plus tripod and it all fits great. I might want to buy the small version for day trips when I only need a 1-2 lens.
Summary: I had the 202 version, and upgraded for more room fro lenses, but Lowepro have made the CF/SD card pocket(s) much smaller than on the 202 version, and this is a small but regularly annoying niggle! Build quality is overall very good, although it feels a little "boxy" at times.

Summary: I think camera bags are trial and error and unfortunately you have to buy before you can try them out. It did enable me to put in all the equipment I needed for a day out shooting. I am 5' 1" tall and found it cumbersome to take my assembled camera with a 300 lens attached in and out of the bag. As a result I mostly carried my camera as I used it frequently and did not want to miss anything. Would I recommend it..
