Great Camera Bag!

Conchphotog, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: From the first time I put this on fully loaded with gear it felt great and kept on feeling great. I carry a DSLR with 4 lenses, spare battery and charger, a Point & Shoot, a GoPro with clap and goose neck, and a couple of filters and there is still room for a little more! A great bag for working out of on a daily basis.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded

PRO DSLR

  • Excerpt: I was hesitant about the 202 AW because it does not specifically say that it will hold (or not hold) a PRO DSLR or DSLR with a grip. The fit is snug, but it will hold a D7100 with a battery grip. It is the perfect size to carry enough gear for a day but not too much that weight becomes an issue.

Lowepro 202 AW Camera Bag

  • Excerpt: I bought it to transport equipment when flying. It easily holds my Nikon D7100 with its grip and a Nikkor 70-300 zoom having a total length of 9". I can store 5 more lenses. To keep them safe I use the Nikon lens bags to separate them. The total weight is about 10 lbs and feels quite light when slung over my shoulder. The strap is well padded.

Nice compact pack great for light travel

  • Excerpt: Sling design is great for quick access to your photo gear. If you want to go on a long hike, i recommend a dual strap back pack as the sling can grow tiring and uncomfortable after long several mile long hikes.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded
  • Cons: Uncomfortable Fit

So far so good....

  • Excerpt: The main reason I purchased this was because I shoot a lot at the beach. Having to put my bag down in the sand, then picking it up - sand ends up in the bag, the outside of the bag. with this, I don't have to put it down. Everything is easily accessible without having to worry about sand getting in anything.

  • Excerpt: I got this bag as a replacement for a small camera bag.I was able to feet all of the items in the numerous compartments, and then some.Bag is very light and versatile and easily accessible. You can attach tripod securely or hide straps if you don't need one. Main compartment configured to carry 4 lenses and a camera.I had to remove one of the compartments to fit a flash comfortably. Also Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM Lens barely fits vertically in allotted slot.

SLINGSHOT 202 AW CAMERA BAG LOWEPRO

  • Excerpt: MOST OF MY CAMERA BAGS ARE EITHER A SHOULDER BAG OR A TAMRAC EXPEDITION 3 BACK BACK WHICH I HAVE BEEN USING FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS, ITS SMALL BUT YOU CAN PACK A LOT OF PHOT EQUIPMENT INTO IT, BUT MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL YOU CAN STOWE IT IN OVERHEAD BINS ON PLANES. ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE ABOUT IT IS YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE BAG OF YOUR SHOULDERS TO GET TO YOUR EQUIPMENT. HENSE I BOUGHT LOWEPRO SLINGSHOT 202 CAMERA BAG.

What a bag!

Mr. C, B&H Photo
21 October 2014
  • Excerpt: The SlingShot 202 is absolutely everything I could want in a bag of it's size. The camera equipment is readily available during a shoot without ever removing the bag from my shoulder and it holds more than enough gear for complete shooting flexibility. There just isn't anything that could be better about this product. If anyone finds it necessary to additionally carry along a tablet or even a laptop, then you may want to look at the larger models.

Nice bag but ....

Scott B, B&H Photo
22 September 2014
  • Excerpt: With a Nikon D810, 105mm Macro Lens + 24-70mm f2.4 + 70-200mm f/2.4 It's just too much and too heavy to carry on one shoulder. The concept is great, and if you already have a light rig, I see no problem using this bag. I ended up going to a larger two strap backpack (same company 400).
  • Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Well Padded
  • Cons: Cumbersome, Uncomfortable Fit

Great Camera Bag For Day Trip

AT, B&H Photo
17 September 2014
  • Excerpt: I already owned several Lowepro camer bags and backpack. They are built to last with attention to miner details. I bought this bag mainly because it will hold may Nikon Df with 24-85mm lens and few other lens for me to take a day trip. It's handy to flip back and forth to access items in this bag. It also comes with a plastic cover to protect the bag in case of rain. A great product with lots of thoughtful features build into it. Highly recommended.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Not Enough Pockets
