Excerpt: I use this lens pouch, attached to a LowePro Deluxe Technical Belt to carry a 70-200 2.8 lens. This is convenient when shooting with one or two cameras and two or three lenses. I prefer the belt to a shoulder bag, as it is less tiring and takes the weight off the neck and shoulders. I don't seem to need the shoulder strap that comes with the belt or the strap that comes with the pouch.
Pros: Compact, Convenient Less Bulky, Durable, Good Protection, Lightweight
Excerpt: The lens case works okay except for the way it closes. It only closes with Velcro. The Velcro is strong, but I wish it was a tighter fit. There's a gap it leaves so it makes it not seem as secure. It's good enough I didn't want to deal with returning, but if I had to buy again I would probably get a different one.
Excerpt: Bought this to carry and protect my new (at the time) 70-200 F4 L. This case does a great job, plenty of space for the lens with the hood reversed. The fact that it colapses flat when not in use is a major bonus, one less fat bag hanging off my shoulder. Construction is high quality and it comes with a pull-over rain protector. The only potential downside is the collapsability means it may be more lightly padded than some other lens pouches, especially on the sides.
Excerpt: Purchased to go on a sling pack. Unecessarily heavily padded. Closed by a hook strip on underside of lid to one of two loop strips on main body of pouch, BUT, the upper strip on the pouch, presumably designed so the pouch can expand to accommodate bulky contents, effectly cannot be used because the lid is so stiff from padding it cannot be folded to properly contact that upper strip.
Excerpt: Have to admit I was a little let down here. I am very use to Lowepro quality and how they really think things through. Missed a couple things on this one though for use with my lens. My 70-200 2.8 II does fit in this case (with tripod collar) but its a bit annoying to get out. I really like the case that comes with the lens except it doesnt have the sliplock attachments the Lowepro has.
Excerpt: 4 stars...solid all around pouch, the one thing is it would be very nice to have a simple little pocket for memory cars, batteries, etc. Nothing major, jut when I'm shooting a wedding I have my camera on one strap and this pouch on my other side--so a little pocket would go a long way in helping me out in these situations.
Pros: Comfortable Strap, Durable, Good Protection, Lightweight
