Excerpt: I've had a couple of back surgeries and needed to lighten the load on those days when I was not up to carrying a lot of equipment. Weight is now dispersed down to my waist and legs instead of my back and it makes me decide what will be my on camera lens and my carry lens. The actual changing of the lenses works great. The only drawback is trying to snap the securing button at the back after closing. Would recommend this to a friend?
Excerpt: Designed to provide a place to put the lens you take off the camera while you are changing lenses. A pretty good idea and useful for that purpose. Wouldn't fit a long lens well, though. Designed for short/medium tele's or wide angle lenses. I also bought a separate lens case for my Nikon 200MM macro lens. The lens came with a very nice rigid case but when I put an A/S lens plate on the foot the lens didn't fit in the case.
Excerpt: I use lens exchange case to swap 80-400mm with 24-120mm lens. 80-400mm lenses approximately the same size as 70-200. It does not fit with the lens hood but as far as I'm concern it worth the compromise.
Excerpt: I recently replaced my older S&F lens cases with new versions and have been very happy with their ease of use. It works as advertised - no longer do I need to juggle two lenses when switching. The fact that they are now "All Weather" makes them even better and all at a very reasonable price. The 200AW case is actually more compact than my current case housing my 70-200mm f2.8 lens.
Pros: Compact, Durable, Good Protection, Lightweight
Excerpt: I used this case for the first time on a nature shoot the other day. Used it to transport my Canon 70-200 f/2.8 to the shoot, and then mounted it on my belt and started my walk. The belt mount helps to take the weight off your shoulder, and the shoulder strap provides extra security and a quick way to grab and go. I had my 24-105 f/4 on the camera and when it was time to switch, it was quick and easy.
Pros: Comfortable Strap, Easy, Good Protection, Quick Lens Change
Excerpt: even this case is meant for 70-200 L, I mainly use for EF 70-300 exchanged w/ 50mm or a wide. The seal/closure is not good enough to protect the lenses from dusty, hi moist environment & hence the 4 star. But the weather seal wrap/cover can protect, not a good idea when an exchange comes. Zippers, handles and extra tweaks are really appreciable. Best for only lens exchange sessions and isn't good for long term storage and leave it in.
Excerpt: I bought this lens case as a means of carrying one additional lens, and having a case which aided in one handed lens changes. I found the case was very well made, with quality materials. Unfortunately, my lenses (a Nikon 16-35mm and a 28-300mm didn't fit into well into the lens compartments. It took two hands to stuff the lenses into the compartments. This issue defeated the whole purpose of the case, that is, one handed lens changes.
