Diamond in the urban jungle

  • Excerpt: I am fairly a newbie in the photography realm. And after using a very well made lowepro sling. I had to step my game up for an upcoming family vacation. Since I need to carry a tripod and other lenses. Switching to a large camera bag that would be suffice in carrying additional personal items only makes sense. The rover have proven to be the Lexus of camera bags.

Not for Pro camera gear

Rmarchell, B&H Photo
16 January 2014
  • Excerpt: The actual camera compartment, which is a separate removable bag, is not big enough to pack a pro body with 2 lenses (24-70 f2.8 and 70-200f2.8). This is a nice back pack with good suspension system and lots of room for personal gear but the needs for camera gear was an afterthought and not very accommodating. A big disappointment I had to return.

Great Backpack

Smouse, Bestbuy
11 April 2013
  • Summary: This is a great pack for hiking with or with out camera gear. It has plenty of room for a day hike, room for a few meals and water.
  • Pros: Good size, solid construction, lots of pockets, great build quality
  • Cons: Could use more dedicated camera pockets, need more room for larger lenses.
