Very Bad Design

S M Jenkins, B&H Photo
9 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I have owned several Lowepro bags. It used to be years ago that the designs were well thought out and practical. Lately, and this bag is an example, the designs are very puzzling. This bag has a flap on front that has absolutely no use. You open the flap, and you reveal only a zippered pocket which needs no flap to cover it. No other compartments. What use is that? To protect it from the weather? This is an all-weather bag with a special rain fly cover for that.
  • Pros: Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded
  • Cons: Cumbersome, Hard To Access Equipment, Not Enough Pockets, Strange Design

Great Little Bag

  • Excerpt: I needed a bag for my new Nikon D5200. I don't have a lot of equipment just yet but I plan to get another lens and external flash. This bag will fit everything nicely. I also like the rain protection it offers as well as the "backwards" opening. I would definitely recommend this item to others.
  • Pros: Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Good Bag

  • Excerpt: This a good bag and does what you would expect. As others have mentioned know what size you need before you buy a bag. I wanted the smallest form factor that I could manage with the gear I had. With a Sony a58 and two lenes it is a snug fit but it works. Happy with the bag overall.
  • Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Well Padded
  • Cons: Not Enough Pockets

  • Excerpt: Easily fits my Nikon D600 and two fixed prime lenses. Slings across my body and is easy to carry with front access to cords and batteries and rear access to the lenses and body. Makes carrying your gear a breeze, will not disappoint.

  • Excerpt: This little bag holds my D5100 with an 18-105 lens plus my 35mm lens and accessories too. The all weather cover is great for protecting your valuable equipment and the wide strap makes it comfortable to carry.

Excellent Features

Bailey, B&H Photo
9 May 2012
  • Excerpt: This bag has many smart features over other Lowe camera bags that made this my bag of choice, especially the protective interior cloth flap to cover exposed gear (not found on Adventura Pro), the exterior rain cover (also not found on Advenura Pro), and this bag opens facing towards me, vs. me having to reach over the open cover and juggling w/ my gear. A great bag for the price points that is compact and does not scream "camera bag" (i.e., potential theft reasons).
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Opens towards me, Protective flap, Rain Cover, Strong Construction, Well Padded
  • Cons: Tight for 3 lenses

great bag

  • Excerpt: A slight bit larger then the 140 which I decided to keep. I like to keep things compact and saw little difference between this bag and the 140. Wanted a bag to carry my EP 3 and a couple lenses and extra battery.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Great Value

Kilo, B&H Photo
17 January 2012
  • Excerpt: At first I passed on this bag because it has a backward zipper opening for the top. But because of the price I took a second look and then realized it was cleaver how they designed it. Most bags open from the outside edge inward toward the body. When you take a lens out the lid flops closed. This bag opens from the body side out so when you remove something the lid will fall away from the body and stay open until you are ready to close it.
