  • Excerpt: Love the backpack just wish it wasn't so big. I won't be carrying it on my back the bag engulfs my whole body , plus it does have some weight to it. I didn't return it because Im going to use it to keep all my photography equipment in. But I still need a backpack ......

LowePro Pro Runner 450 AW Backpack

  • Excerpt: This is a large storage backpack for gear that is not intended for "outdoor hikes" but rather transport of gear from your car to the shoot. The shoulder pads and hip belt are thick & comfortable. The zippers are large and have a good feel.

Pro Runner 450 AW Backpack by Lowepro

  • Excerpt: Functions well however the large padded bottom straps seem unnecessary to me for a bag of this small size. Large zippers are great. Padded compartments do the job.

Much larger than I expected...

  • Excerpt: This bag is much larger than I had expected or wanted but I does indeed hold all of my camera gear and still has room to add more. When the waist belt is tucked away it is still comfortable to wear.

Lowepro Pro Runner 450 AW review by ETStudio

ETStudio, slrgear.com

  • Summary: this is very special bag. since photography gear is naturally about to grow, the day have come when my excellent Lowepro slingshot 302 was no longer big enough to carry everything, so after a long research I've come with that one! there is 4 compartments in it.
  • Pros: Really big, strong and comfortable, fits 2 DSLR bodies with GRIP and LENS on, enough place for flashes lenses and accessories
  • Cons: the frame of the main zipper could be better

Bigger than I thought

  • Excerpt: After the strap on my shoulder bag broke I was going to get a rolling bag but came upon this backpack. I was worried it would be a tight fit for all my gear but i'm happy to report that I was wrong.

Great functionality & excellent capacity

  • Excerpt: I travel a lot with quite a bit of gear. Had a shoulder bag but it became very uncomfortable on long carries through big airports. This backpack distributes the weight much better and the thickly padded shoulder straps are comfortable.

So Far , a good bag.

Trying for the Shot, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: Just came back from a 15 day trek with this product. It seems to be road worthy. The handles on top and side seem alittle flimsy, but are still in tack. Time will tell. My use for the bag is primarily to hold gear and accessories, not the camera itself. It is very comfortable fully packed.

Great large bag

  • Excerpt: Able to hold two Nikon bodies, one with an 80-400mm lens attached. Plenty of room for 3 additional lenses and an SB900. MacBook pro fits nicely into sleeve. One word of caution - when fully loaded, the weight of your gear add up quickly. However, even when fully loaded, very comfortable.
