Great bag

MEE, B&H Photo
  • Excerpt: This bag has plenty of room. I could put my 200 to 400 F4 in there and still get two bodies more lenses and flashes in. That's a lot of weight, but when you put it on your back you don't feel it.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction

Pro Runner 450 AW Backpack by Lowepro

Andrew, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: Functions well however the large padded bottom straps seem unnecessary to me for a bag of this small size. Large zippers are great. Padded compartments do the job.
  • Pros: Strong Construction
  • Cons: Cumbersome

Much larger than I expected...

  • Excerpt: This bag is much larger than I had expected or wanted but I does indeed hold all of my camera gear and still has room to add more. When the waist belt is tucked away it is still comfortable to wear.

  • Excerpt: Price good in US$ but stung a bit due to exchange rate however did not have to endure finding a retailer in Sydney that had them in stock and not wanting to pillage my wallet. Delivery on time ex US.

Lowepro Pro Runner 450 AW review by ETStudio

ETStudio, slrgear.com
1 February 2015
  • Summary: this is very special bag. since photography gear is naturally about to grow, the day have come when my excellent Lowepro slingshot 302 was no longer big enough to carry everything, so after a long research I've come with that one! there is 4 compartments in it.
  • Pros: Really big, strong and comfortable, fits 2 DSLR bodies with GRIP and LENS on, enough place for flashes lenses and accessories
  • Cons: the frame of the main zipper could be better

  • Excerpt: After the strap on my shoulder bag broke I was going to get a rolling bag but came upon this backpack. I was worried it would be a tight fit for all my gear but i'm happy to report that I was wrong.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Roomy

Great functionality & excellent capacity

  • Excerpt: I travel a lot with quite a bit of gear. Had a shoulder bag but it became very uncomfortable on long carries through big airports. This backpack distributes the weight much better and the thickly padded shoulder straps are comfortable.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction

Roomy Pack

Steve, B&H Photo
9 January 2015
  • Excerpt: I needed a pack with room for two gripped bodies, my 70-200 f/2.8, and 100-400 lenses. This bag had room for all this and more. The bag is also well made with padded straps, though it does get heavy fully loaded.

Best bag for the money!

  • Excerpt: SPACE!!! It holds everything you could want to carry. I can comfortably fit my Mark II w/attached 200mm, plus 4 other L-series lenses, and my flash. Still have room to spare. Only downside, it is big and might be an issue as a carry on.
