Great Backpack

Henry, B&H Photo
4 June 2014
  • Excerpt: Wonderful storage for my camera equipment. Though it is larger than I was expecting. I travel a lot via airplane and I am concerned that it may be too bulky for overhead storage on regional jets. And I don't want to gate check my camera equipment. The backpack is quite versatile, but there was no documentation with it that tells you about the different features. I guess the manufacturer assumes that the buyer will know everything about it.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Cumbersome, Too Big For Airline Ovhd

Heavy but safe

  • Excerpt: For those who work with video both as camera operators and editors, this backpack will serve all your needs. There's a lot of room in it, you can change the compartments any way your desire and everything will be safe and sound, since this is a very strong backpack. Carrying all your lenses, cameras and notebook is possible, though it gets heavy. I own a T3i, NEX-3N, and seven lenses, plus a MacBook Pro 15", and they all fit.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Roomy, Safe, Strong Construction

Good Spacious Bag.. a bit Large

pgsdeepak, B&H Photo
26 March 2014
  • Excerpt: I bought this bag to carry my laptop and camera gear as checkin bag. I have a lowepro flipside 300. Thats my daily use bag. this is more like a long journey backpack for me, which I think it will serve the purpose. Also for the money, there is no better option to carry laptop, one or two dslrs and a couple of lens and speedlites. the construction is sturdy, secure and a lot of pockets and compartments which will be really useful.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Roomy, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Hard To Access Equipment, Heavy

Lots of room

  • Excerpt: I don't do a lot of traveling however for this occasion I needed a bag that will fit my 7D + 4 lenses + flash + diffuser + batterypacks/cables + 13' laptop and this bag did the job pretty well. It's big and bulky but also has tons of room inside and the waist belt helped off load the weight from my shoulders. It would be better if the straps were thinner. For the price and number of times I'll use it, it's a good deal.

  • Cons: Hard To Access Equipment

Great Backpack

Bryan, B&H Photo
6 March 2014
  • Excerpt: This bag is great. I fit a body with a 70-200 attached, a second body, a 16-35 lens, a 24-70 lens, a speedlight, and I have room for more. The pockets for extra gear push into the main space a little bit more than I expected. I carried the backpack around all day and my shoulders were fine.

Great backpack for the money

  • Excerpt: Very versatile, lots of pockets and compartments, easy to customize to your camera kit. When fully loaded, this will be heavy. However the strong shoulder straps/chest and waist straps allow for a secure fit. Plus I can fit my 15.4" MacBook Pro in the laptop compartment with ease.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction

  • Excerpt: Holds the camera plus several lenses as well as cords, charger, instruction booklets, etc. Very sturdy, well padded. It is a bit more rigid than I expected, but it provides great protection for the gear.

First Impressions, Pro Runner 350

  • Excerpt: Though I just got this Pro Runner 350 AW I can say this is a very well made pack. Quality materials, clean zipper work, and well designed features. Zippers and the way they are sewn into a pack is crucial. Using a pack in the field means that zippers work hard, sometimes under less that ideal conditions. Zippers are also susceptible to additional wear due to dirt and grit which over time causes increased wear and potentially premature failure.

GREAT BACKPACK!

Leonardo, B&H Photo
12 December 2012
  • Excerpt: The backpack is great and has a lot of space inside. Didn't give 5 stars because the notebook compartment is a bit tight. Also, I'm afraid the shoulder strap breaks to easy due to the weight of DSLR + LENSES + FLASH + NOTEBOOK + TRIPOD. It could be better in my oppinion, but it is not bad either. Nothing happened so far though. I love the removable divisors inside and the straps to hold a monopod or tripod on the outside.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy
  • Cons: Sh Strap Feels Weak
