Great pack, but too big for short torsos

  • Excerpt: I bought this pack to use as a daypack that would carry all of my camera gear (body, several lenses, filters, tripod), as well as extra clothes, food, etc. The design and capacity were great, but unfortunately, the pack is just a little to tall.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Good Design
  • Cons: Too big

Improvements needed

  • Excerpt: The Rover Pro 45L is not all that it could be. It worked out fine for me, but there is room for improvement; a lot of room, actually. On the first day out with it, the chest strap broke -- pulled off the rail on the left shoulder. I had to do some sewing repair/reinforcement.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable
  • Cons: Hard To Access Equipment, Not enough straps

Excellent for camping with photo gear

  • Excerpt: Excellent for one or two nights with photo gear on it. I personally use it with only one of the photo bag inserts and is very roomy. I really love this bag. I filled with a small 2 person tent, one thermarest pad, 2 liter camellback and 2 more liters of water inside, food and one change of clothes.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction

  • Excerpt: Love this bag. It's super comfortable and easily carries the gear I need into the great outdoors and away from the studio. Haven't used it long enough to comment on the build quality though. Definitely the most comfortable bag I've ever owned.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy
