Summary: I am an avid hiker and this pack holds everything i need for a day hike and my camera equipment just right. (cannon 20D 2 lenses with a 17-200mm attached to body) I have no problems getting to my camera while going down the trail. It seems to breath fine but i have not had it in the Ga heat yet but so far so good (12 trips down the trail). It could use a few more exsternal loops for any exstra you might want such as aid kit or other outdoor gear.
Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction
Summary: This is a great bag. Good balance when fully loaded with a tripod attached. There is enough space for a days worth of camera gear and personal items. This bag was a great way to transport my medium format camera, my digital SLR, three lenses, 20 rolls of 120 film, and a book on the plane (not much else fit though). However, the one gripe I have is that the side access panel is a bit on the small side.
Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction
Summary: I am very thankful to have found this pack. I take mainly snowboarding and rock climbing photos and this pack is the best I've used yet. ( And I've blown through a few ) I carry a Nikon D2X, 4 Lenses, SB-800 flash, 2 Pocket Wizards, battery charger, various cords and a small cleaning kit. I have removed some of the over-kill padding (in my mind) to increase capacity. Although it is the best "I've" used yet, it's not perfect.
