Great backpack

Annabelle, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: This was just what I was looking for. This backpack has a place to store my camera while hiking along, with a place for my water reservoir and other separate compartments as well. At first I didn't think the area for the water would work. It seemed a little tight, but after filling my reservoir with 48 oz of water, I had no problems. I like that the access to the camera is on the side so I don't have to totally remove the pack, just swing it off one arm.

Overall Good bag

  • Excerpt: I used it for a Trip to Big Bend with a 5D MKIII + 24-70 + 600EX-RT. Backpack made the trip very comfortable opposed to using a sling backpack that I normally use. I was able to carry all the camera gear + rain gear + hydration bladder + tripod for the whole trip, didn't feel from having it strapped on me. We did a 5 mile day hike. Think the only critiques i have is that length between the Hip straps and the shoulder straps seem a bit small.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy
  • Cons: Too Small

Protection 9.999999/10

  • Excerpt: At first I just wanted a bag that would not look like a typical camera bag, once I received it, it became the ultimate weekend get away bag/day trip bag. a nice solid compartment for externally holding your tripod, straps on the bottom which i usually like to carry my sleeping back or a large towel for those awesome summer day trips. You can fit easily fit a prime lens and two other prime lens in the camera compartment or snuggly fit your 24-70mm.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Nothing Bigger Than 24-70

Excellent Pack

  • Excerpt: Very durable pack with very useful and well placed storage. Sits very comfortably and is easily adjustable between my wife and I. Her Nikon D3100 and all accessories fit perfectly and has plenty of space for additional items for a long trek. We plan on hiking the Adirondacks this summer and I'm sure this will provide plenty of space and comfort for any long trek. I'm very impressed with this backpack.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Roomy
  • Cons: Zippers Seem A Bit Frail

Great backpack

  • Excerpt: I've taken this pack out in all sorts of terrain - from rainy/snowy weather to desert warm weather... it has not disappointed me. The *only* thing I'm not "in love" with is that the top pocket for "stuff" is not separate from the pocket that stores your camera - the camera is still separately stored and protected, but there is no divider to stop gear from getting stuck down under the camera - not a huge deal, just maybe a minor engineering mistake (seems like they could...
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction

Good bag but could use a few adjustment

Jason, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: Lots of space, ability to carry tripod and many other things. The camera section only has two strips of velcro so you can't adjust for smaller cameras. I have a m4/3 camera and it has to much room to move around and I can't seem to find a good setup to keep it in place
  • Pros: Comfortable, Roomy, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Can't Adjust Setup

Too small.

John, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: For a Lowepro, I was surprised at the poor design of this pack. I would have opted for more camera gear space and a less for other things. I'm 5'10' and this pack was not only very small but whoever designed the padding must have been an engineer. Very uncomfortable. I found the zipper for the camera gear to be flimsy and clumsy to access. Returning the pack and sticking with the Osprey, used with the inserts from a different photo bag - best hiking/photo combo for me.
  • Cons: Cumbersome, Hard To Access Equipment, Too Small

Great outdoor photography pack

  • Excerpt: This pack has all the bells and whistles of a hiking day pack, with the added benefit of carrying a camera with lens, and an additional telephoto lens. It also allows for a tripod to be strapped on as well. Its very lightweight and the best system I have come across to make carrying my camera and equipment on the trail comfortable and not a drag.

I love this pack

  • Excerpt: I have been wanting to purchase this for a while and finally did. I couldn't be happier. It transported my Olympus OMD EM1 camera and 2 additional lenses in the camera compartment without difficulty although I would love one more divider and a little more velcro to be able to customize it further. The top held all of my day gear (jacket/snacks/small bag with additional camera gear - filters/extra battery/SD card etc)as well as my tablet.

User Review

  • Excerpt: I love the 100AW and got this 200AW because the single strap was hurting my shoulders. 200aw has the same features as 100aw but a little too big for me.
