Excerpt: The overall padding is pretty good with the exception of the bottom pads. I didn't find it as much padding as I expected. Had to add some of my own padding on the bottom.
Rain cover cannot be removed so it's added size that I don't need.
Excerpt: The bag is kind of small to fit in my camera with the zoom lens attached, plus another small prime lens and a speed light unit, plus a few filters.
The zipper location and the flap over it made the camera not easily accessible from the bag.
Excerpt: I returned this bag and bought a messenger style bag. Turns out I wanted something that looked less like a camera bag, but I didn't know it yet when I ordered this bag.
I added a battery grip to my D90, so my small top loader was now insufficient.
Excerpt: I ordered this bag along with a Nova 190. The 180 was too small for my needs. In addition, the accessory pocket is not very big and would not hold enough for me. Although both of these bags are of excellent Lowepro construction, I returned both and will search for a better fit for my needs.
Summary: I like my camera and lenses to be well protected and padded. Although this bag did both it fell short on space in my mind. There was not enough space to get everything in without packing everything tightly, 'like sardines'. This for me could damage a seriously expensive piece of kit I was carrying.
Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Well Padded
Summary: its a great bag to carry and fit most of your equipment. but the top handle strap is of very poor quality , the rubber coating comes off in your hands when you hold it and its never ending. hope this reaches the manufacturers ears.
Summary: In terms of storage, this is a well designed bag! It can hold a professional SLR with [standard] lens mounted(Minus Grip), and an additional two lenses or flashes. I would regularly get a Nikon D700, Nikon 24-70mm F/2.8, Nikon 105mm VR and Nikon SB-900 flash in the bag!
