Nicely made case is a perfect fit for the Tamron ...

zyng808, Amazon

  • Summary: Nicely made case is a perfect fit for the Tamron Adaptall SP 300/2.8 lens. The lens fits with the hood reversed (as is normal for storage), however the stock Tamron leather front cap is too wide, so you should use a screw-in front cap or one of the neoprene caps. Too bad this case is discontinued by Lowepro, as it's the best value to transport this type of (fat) lens!

A Solution That Works

Brian Koch "Aspiring Photographer", Amazon

  • Summary: I have been trying to find a way to easily carry a lot of camera equipment for quite some time. I have tried backpacks, shoulder bags, duffel bags, but none of them really worked all that well. Then I saw the Lowepro Street and Field system with completely customizable pouches, vests, belts, and accessories.

Photos on the run

P. Crosby "Woodworker", Amazon

  • Summary: I bought the Lowepro lens case 5S to use with my Canon 100-400L IS lens. It fit a little sloppy at the bottom so I added a foam cut out to hold it securely. This case with my top loading Lowpro and one smaller lens case makes a system that works just right for me. It has the slide in connection on back so it can be removed for downsizing quickly if needed. It is everything I was looking for.

  • Summary: I ordered this to carry my Sigma 200mm-400mm lens in. It is too big for the lens.
